I always wanted to tell my parents that i like smoking/vaporizing marijuana. I have been using marijuana since i think november?

but anyway, i usually smoke on friday and saturday nights at like 1 am when there asleep. but anyway, i love marijuana. I just have a feeling though that one day they will find out i use it and get all pissed and stuff. so i have always wanted to tell them that i use it so they wont loose trust and stuff and they will respect me for telling them.

i am worried about how they might react though. they both smoke cigarettes, and im not sure if they did any drugs when they were younger. i have came up with some ideas on how to tell them if i decide to.

i was thinking that i would tell them that i have been VAPORIZING (i have a vaporizer and love it, but i do smoke sometimes) because vaporizing is healthier and they might react a bit better thinking i have been vaporizing and not smoking so i wont get health issues that can be caused by smoking. also vaporizing marijuana is more safe then smoking cigarettes (which my parents do)

i would also tell them that i have been doing it for a year and half, because i always get good grades in school (like mostly a's and some b's, and i still get good grades even though i started smoking pot), so they will think that pot isnt effecting my grades at all.

also i would tell them that i would never ever do any other drugs, and that contrary to popular belief marijuana isnt always a gateway drug. Id say i know how bad other drugs are and that i wouldnt do them.

i would also say that marijuana isnt effecting my personality at all, because im basically the same as i have been since before i started smoking, and i havnt changed.

and i would tell them that marijuana makes me happy, and i like pot and enjoy using it, and enjoy many things. and also helps me express myself more on the guitar and stuff (i play the guitar a lot), it also helps me think about certain things and stuff.

Well anyway, thats basically what i would tell them if i decide to, but im just scared that they will flip out or something. If anyone could help give me some more ideas to use, or tell me if they ever tried this stuff and if it worked, and also if u think i should tell them or not.
