I live in dorm which is part of an 12 story highrise. We have 4 of these highrises on campus. We have one police officer that patrols all four and usually chills out at my buildings front desk. But he is so relaxed and nice. He is originally from New York City so I expected him to be a real hardass but he is far from it. Just as long as we aren't endangering ourselves or others he lets us do whatever and it's pretty nice.

For example, my friends and I go out for a cigerette break at the picnic tables in the front of the building, we're all wasted (and under 21) so we take our cups of vodka and juice with us. We walk past Bob (the police officer) and he just asks we're we are going, we tell him and he just waves us off.

His stance on Marijuana is "if nobody complains, I don't care.".

I just wish the rest of the campus police felt the same way.
