|  Question So i have this pill bottle filed with some Dro and some also really skunky high quality weed and i need to know sumthn. Im tryn to quit for two weeks so i pass a drug test so i havn't smoked since sunday. So in the eve of quiting I ocasionally open the container to smell it and i was wondering if this can get you even a little high cause afterwards i notice my pupils look like im stoned outa my mind lol. just wondering thanks! |

| i dont think you could, i would think it would take more than just sniffing ur pot to release the thc, and if u did im sure it wouldn't be enough to show up on a drug test but i dont know for certain

| I'm pretty sure you can't get high just because of smelling your weed. You have to have some sort of heat to release the Tetrahydrocannabinol(THC). When you just smell the marijuana, no THC is going into your body, well unless, you smell it "vigorously" which can be classified as snorting it(and that is not going to work)... | maybe sniffing your weed is kind of like huffing. maybe thats what makes you feel high. or maybe its somewhat of a placebo effect.

| THC is heat activated generally. It will NOT show up on your drug test.

| No, you cannot and will not get high or fail a drug test because you cauight a whiff of weed. Any high you thought you may have felt or noticed signs of was entirely coincidence or placebo effect. HOWEVER, the_hitman (and allenlovesgreen, actually) were also wrong when they stated THC needed to be heated in order to be active. That is false, and comes from the idea that cooked weed is more efficient than eating it raw. That is certainly true, but it has nothing whatsoever to do with heat. The reason cooked weed is absorbed into the system more readily has to do with the THC bonding with the fat in the food, and has little to do with temperature.
