Thats what you thought, right? No, I am speaking about 3 much more powerful words

"Are You High?"

Yes, taken seperately each word is quite harmless and useful in many contexts but put together it can lead to laughs or a trifecta of heart pounding relentless TERROR.

So, everyone give your stories on when you have been asked "are you high" or anything of the same meaning.

Its happend to me with friends, family, and cops. For the last two, it really really sucks.

I was in a park one time where I get high alot. I had just recently smoked a nice doobie and was just sitting in the park hanging out. Now, keep in mind I DID NOT smoke AT the park on this occasion. Normally I smoke there but this time I just went there afterward. I had 6 police officers roll up on me and begin interrogating me. Eventually I got searched and had nothing on me (I NEVER carry shit in public) so everything ended well. Neverless being high and having to deal with police is not fun.

I have a good one. (well its funny when im high)

My parents and I both smoke weed and know about each others smoking, but rarely say anything about it...and their only rule is to not smoke in the house.

So one chilly night i decided I didn't wanna smoke in my car because it freezing and WAY too loud to run so i could use the heater, so i put a towel under my door and proceed to hit the bong at my computer. I assumed i was going to be left alone for the rest of the night until my room aired out, but my mom walked in AS i blew a hit out...now the lights were off so there is smoke just floating in front of my monitor and my mom asks me "are you smoking?". to which i reply "no" and got out to my car as fast as possible.

getting pulled over by the cops around 2 years ago is when i got asked for the first time.

my boyfriend (husband now), me, and a friend went to our dealer's house to buy a half-ounce to get us through the next few days. after we pulled out from their house, blue lights flipped on and i was freaking out, trying to pop the vent off to place the bag down in it just in case.

we pulled over and he asked the usual questions. then you could hear him sniff (which was actually really funny) and he asked us all that question, and as high as we were we just looked at him and was like "what? high? nooo. we're not high." it was kinda' smartass-ish, so we were then asked to get out and lay all of our belongings on the hood and stand with our hands and legs apart, lol. the cop made me search myself infront of him, since he couldn't do it. if i would have thought, i could have just hid the bag on me and got by with it.

after he searched us, he went for the truck and kept going on and on about how he could smell it, that we probably just put one out, and that he was finding so many seeds in floorboard that he could grow his own right there.

i ended up asking the officer if he was going to let us go, because i was cold and he ended up telling us to get back in the vehicle and go straight home. so we got off free. if he would have found that bag we'd be in jail.

This was a popular phrase that came out of my mothers mouth a lot when I would come home. Same with my brothers, but they light up too so it makes no difference to them. Been asked this several times by police also.

When im getting baked with one of my friends, even when we both know that the other is high we will turn to each other with idiotic grins on our faces and go "dude...are you high? cuz im high"

It actually gets on my nerves when someone asks me that for some reason. I don't mean like, an adult figure or whatever. I've never come close to being caught. But just like, if I'm smoking with friends and one of them asks me if I'm high yet, I always just say "no" for some reason.. unless it's obvious. Then all I can do is smile, and laugh.
