| I'm actually surprised. I'm surprised at how little my life has changed because of marijuana. When I first tried it I expected my life to be different. I expected life to be harder in exchange for smokable pleasure. But really, my life is unnervingly similar to my pre-weed existence. When I get high and do fun things, it reminds me of other times I've had awesome fun. I think back to high school and all the fun times I had with my friends. I realize how epic my life was before marijuana. And even now my life is pretty epic. Going to college. Tons of work that challenges me daily. Marijuana has definitely colored the past 5 months, but mostly it's been more of the same. I am dead serious when I say this. I believe that coffee has had a bigger impact on changing my life than weed has. No joke. My mom helped me become a coffee lover and I found a love for energy drinks on my own. The way I have become dependent on them and the way I think about caffeine has definitely impacted me as a person and shaped the way I do things. I believe it has been a change for the good. I've found a passion for coffee and I believe the caffeine itself has helped me have passion for other things as well, such as school, video games, and music. I also believe the discovery of my favorite band, Muse, has been more influential than my discovery of weed. I remember hearing those songs for the first time in high school when I was going through difficult times. The way the music called out to me helped me get through those difficult days in a very emotional way. It's almost become boring in a way, simply because it's such a mild drug. I'm not saying I don't like it, because it really is amazing. I am saying that I'm shocked that marijuana has been so inconsequential on the grand scheme of life. Truthfully, I could take it or leave it and either way be completely content. I cannot say the same for coffee. I'm surprised to find out exactly how harmless this marijuana is. I am perplexed that my life is not even close to being derailed. I didn't expect my life to derail completely, but I did expect to have to fight it. I haven't even needed to do that. Had I not discovered weed, I'm pretty sure my life would have turned out surprisingly the same. It's a travesty that marijuana is illegal especially when considering other vices that are actually harmful. In my own life, porn, video games, and internet addiction have all come more close to messing up my life than marijuana ever has. Last edited by mandeponium : 04-06-2009 at 05:51 PM. |

| Yea, a nowadays civil speedball, is caffeine, and,THC. One get You up,and going, the other keeps You down, and around. Revaluations of life, change from year to Year. You can just go so far with caffeine, tea, Coffee, Then it's up to espresso, and mountain dew, that's it. then You've got marijuana, and You can get down to thinking about the stuff You did when You where "up". Watch Your diet, and drink plenty fresh orange juice. It's all just living, in the moment. |
