Scariest thing just happened

So me and my friend went to smoke in this deserted area next to my house
and we got really baked. So as we were heading home i offered to hold the backpack with the pipe,weed and other paraphernalia in it cuz my friend was freaking out with it.
We were hopping this fence next to the freeway and right when my feet hit the ground this cop on his motorcycle pulled up next us.Turns out we were trespassing so he asks a bunch of questions then asks to search the backpack and found everything.He then told my friend to break the pipe and the cop threw the container of weed really far into a field then told us to beat it.
took me a while to realise that he had just let us go scot-free

well besides losing a pipe and bit of mj

Pretty sure you didn't have to let the cop search your backpack without a warrant. But lucky you anyway, coulda been much worse!

If they were trespassing I believe the cop has reason to search them. They could have something in the bag and they were on private property.

one of my old friends got a break like that,cop took his weed and made him break his pipe.he was still complaining about it to one of my other friends,so he was just like "so??! at least he let you go!! stop fucking whining!!"
