this is my first time smoking weed and i only smoked a little and i didnt get high.
my friend tells me you usually dont get high the fisrt 2-3 times.
so can anyone inform me if this is true.

the reason i think most people dont get high their first time is due to the wrong inhaling process...
i think you should take a hit and hold it in ur lungs for 3 seconds(more than 5 seconds will get you a headaches feeling in ur head due to the lack of oxygen and NOT the feeling of getting high)
make sure the smoke stay in ur lungs..
take 3 hits if u wanna get buzzed .. like 5 6 to get high .. and 7+ to get stoned..
try to get high your first time..

Stoned comes before high?

I don't think I've ever gone sober/buzzed/high/stoned as a smoking process...however, that IS my process but the "stoned" feelings is what I get when I'm coming down.

With me, it was definitely because I wasn't inhaling right. Now that I've learned, I have no problem. It comes with time.

Funny story about the first time I smoked. It was with my ex-boyfriend (Jay), my current boyfriend (Dan, he wasn't then, obviously), and his ex-girlfriend (Stef). We all used to hang out all the time. So we're driving and smoking a bowl, I was like 15 at the time, and I pass out in the backseat of Dan's car. Little did I know that 3 years later, him and I would wind up dating, hahaha.

Try swallowing. I've known plenty of first timers that inhaled wrong but i've always found that if you inhale the smoke and then swollow (just your saliva obv.) it forces you to put it into your lungs.

Yep, totally due to faulty inhaling. Well, some people just don't get high but it's mostly becuase they don't smoke the right way. I remember my first time I wasn't inhaling right either, but my friend kindof showed me "how", well, just puff and breathe, that's it haha and I got high. 2nd was with the Bible's page, the Genesis, when God created the world :P was stoned that time.
But on my 5th, 6th or 7th time, I was high like I've never been, and I never got the feeling again... smoked some Jack.. I was just, completely not there.

I don't know, I hadn't smoked in a few months a week ago and I lit up some really good weed: just dark purple and orange hairs all over then some white rhino. I got high after a couple of bowls to myself then the next day I hit some regular kb twice and got faded a lot more quickly than the previous day. I was inhaling the same both times.

After you inhale a comfortable amount of smoke, fill your lungs with air. That is the simple key to inhaling properly, finishing off your hit with air, THEN breathing out.

I did my first time, but it took about 10 bowls from my friends bong...I wasnt inhaling right, but i got a little each time, and a little each time X about 10 bowls did the trick....now 1 good hit from a bong does the trick

It took me 2 trys before i got it. I kinda went overboard though, i wasnt feeling the effects, so i smoked 3 bowls out of a bong and WOW! I was totally stoned for 6-7 hours. You will get it eventually
