Smoking and post cold cough

Hey guys,

Was wondering what you guys' experience was with smoking and a having a cold at the same time?

I've already gotten over my cold but I have one of those lingering post cold chesty coughs. Theres some mucus in my chest but its not severe enough where I can cough any up.

I've had the cough for a week now, and I'm wondering if its alright to smoke up or will it lower my immune system and slow down the fight to end the cough?

It won't affect your immune system but it won't be very pleasant, your lung and eusophogus tissue is most likely healing due to the irritation so it may hurt and slow down the regeneration of the tissue, but it shouldn't interfere with getting rid of the virus.

BS, when i have a cold and i rip my bong, im all health the next day...

I've heard about ppl whining it weakens their immune systems, but sadly, it strengthens mine...

Seems im the next step in evolution (lololololol self gloating end)

It won't affect your immune system at all, like Snoe said, but it's not going to make your cough any better.

It's been said a million times before, everyone is effected differently. As for your problem, there's really only one way to find out. It might make you feel better, and it might not but it wont lower your immune system.

I smoke everytime I'm sick, partially because it helps me fall asleep, partially because I'm not about to let a cold ruin my fun. When you can get past the harsher hits, you'll be fine. Just watch the medications you take to remedy your cold, if you take anything that causes drowsiness, the drowsiness could intensify.

Smoking + Cold = bad for me. If i smoke with a cough, it'll linger forever. i just wait til i'm all better.
