| I totally spelled the title wrong I think. But I just had a revelation while I was smoking the last of my weed. It was when I was watching that family guy episode on hulu. It was how Chris became really popular then became really unpopular. I didn't really think that any of that mattered, but then when I heard Meg ask what it was like to be popular, I realized how sucky it must feel for the unpopular kids. I have been popular all my life so I don't realize how lucky I am. So my revelation was that I should be more nice to the unpopular kids. oh and I'm not one of those people who made fun of them, I'm one of those people who just stood by and ignored them while not being disrespectful. I don't really know why I got the idea to wrote this but I am kind of still stoned so I hope I still agree to myself that this was a revelation once I become "unstoned"/uncrazified. |

| Good thing you got that. The title is correct, I believe, however, re-read this and if you still don't get it sober, then please try to re-trace your stream of though back to this conclusion. |

| I was never mean to anyone regardless of style, I was friends with everyone, because your really only popular when everyone likes you haha but no honestly even though I'm not religious I still believe you should treat everyone like you want to be treated. It's better overall just to be a good person. |

| I think popular and unpopular is a terrible way to categorize people.

| I agree. Everyone has some friends, whether a lot or a little everyone is kind of popular. I wouldn't say I'm the most popular person in my town but I have a lot of friends who are cool and I'm not exactly "unpopular" either but I think judging people by popularity is ignorant. |

) belief. Look at us for instance. The more popular thought is that weed is bad and stupid and if you smoke weed you're a loser. But we know the truth, as we say fuck you popular people. I think a lot of the popular people play stupid little games to keep their reputation and popularity. Along with that, so much of their interaction is fake and full of unnecessary drama. I would much rather be myself than have people like me for something I'm not or am pretending to be, whether that makes me popular or unpopular. Also, I'm a believer that there is a good part of everyone, and something to be taken/learned from every individual. While some people merely brush off or pick on the unpopular kids or "losers", I try to talk to them and learn something about them or see a side of them that others don't. Everyone should try it sometime, I think you'll find that there's good in everyone, it just takes more to see it in some than others. EDIT: Like others in the thread, I also find myself middle of the road as far as popularity is concerned. | |
