Alright first of all, I haven't even gotten my ears pierced yet but i'm just looking for a quick answer to my question if it can be provided . What size gauge is the largest you can get where your ears will still heal fully? I want gauges but obviously don't want huge holes in my ears for the rest of my life .

I would say if you're going to stretch, don't be stupid and impatient.
Stretch SLOWLY. Keep the lobe healthy, sea salt soaks, and oil rubs (ONLY after it's healed.)

Right now am a 00g I'd like to at least go to a 9/16th or a half inch..

Really it depends on your lobes Are they fleshy thick suckers? or thin whispy ones? how quickly you stretch (I like at least a month between the higher gages more time for the lower ones Like anything past 6g and LOTS of months after 2g)

You also have to understand your lobe will never be 100% after stretching Even the lower ones never snap back 100% (IE: I was a 8g, took it out for a month or so then was able to go back to a 8g or 6g no sweat.)

00, but thats stretching it. Oh my god that pun is awesome. Seriously, though. I have 0's (about the size of a cigarette) and I've been trying to drop to a 5, and it's slow going.

how long have you been downsizing? are you doing anything with them? like massages and such?
