Bad experience smoking, but good high.

Well I smoked today with a new bong made out of a scope bottle and some of the scope mouth wash smell is still in the bottle so I take a hit and oh my God weed smoke mixed with scope mouth wash tastes like shit; tastes so bad that I got a stomach ache and a head ache. The high was awesome though.

So my question is: How do I get this scope mouth wash smell out of my bong? I've tried hot water which has worked a little so far.

Try warm salt water and shake it around a bit. You can tr a few things:

Warm water + Soap (Shake or let sit)
Freshly cut onion + Water.
Weed + warm water. (Best so far, but it's kind of a waste of weed.)

Basically, warm water with naturally good smelling things. Just make sure you hang it and let air dry it out.

Isopropyl alcohol and salt, shake it around then rinse it well, I think that should work for you.

ganja-man beat me to it. I use alcohol every time when I need to clean my pipes, bongs, bubblers.

Dont use a scope bottle when making a bong?

Well because Scope is essecially alcohol, and if your using alcohol to clean alcohol than.......

If Scope were actually essentially all alcohol (like isopropyl alcohol is) he wouldn't have a problem with a lingering smell. Alcohol evaporates quickly and completely. The problem sounds like it's with the minty flavoring and other random ingredients.

I think isopropyl alcohol is your best bet as it will remove any other substances from the Scope that are stuck in the bottle.

Alcohol truly does wonders for cleaning and killing bacteria. I guess that's why they put it in mouthwash...
