So I bought some pretty crappy weed last week. It was unfortunately all my dealer had and I didn't want to waste time going all around town to find more.
There was a ton of seeds in it. I actually had to "clean" my weed and take out the seeds. In total, I found 32 seeds. Before that day, I have seen ONE seed in the 5 years I have been toking.
I thought that I'd plant them just for fun.. so I spread them out in a small planter, topped with some moist soil and left them in the sun. Nothing was happening then suddenly, last night.. I notice - 6 sprouts. I promptly water it again and put it under a light.. today I have 10 sprouts. I never thought this was possible.. everyone always said the seeds would be garbage. I'm sure this is normally the case but I don't think this weed was dried/cured properly so the seeds are still good! I doubt I'll invest in a light to get them to bud and plants that I have tend to die too..but until then I'm taking good care of it by talking to it softly and singing it songs on my guitar (haha, jk).. I just look at it lovingly. Some of the sprouts have little mj leaves. It's so freaking cool.
I'm seriously considering getting more of this crap weed and taking the seeds into the woods somewhere.. Just dropping them in a good spot and checking on them in a few weeks..
Just thought I'd share. I'm amazed that they are sprouting.
