So, I'm curious to hear from all of you. It's very varied amongst my own friends, so I was wondering if it is varied within the entire marijuana-smoking community or not.

How do your friends feel about your smoking?
Do they smoke?
Are they against smoking?
Do they not care?

Personally, the person in my life who I feel is like basically my sister is absolutely against it. She hates the fact that I smoke, although she used to smoke with me. I would call her my best friend, except we aren't, we are much more similar to sisters as we are just as close, but fight just as much.

My best friend smokes just as much as I do. He is always with me, by my side. He's the best.

My girlfriend is the same as my best friend. Most of my other friends are smokers, but I do have quite a few who are uncaring or against.

How about you all?

So my best friend, he is like one of those kids that get like mid 90's and is super smart, hes not a nerd though... Just super smart. But he would never ever ever smoke or drink.. Kinda sucks cause blazing with him would be the shit. But he never would, and I would never force him into doing this.
I know for a fact my dad did when he was my age, im 15. But I never would tell him, he stopped smoking like 15 years ago (He smoked smokes daily). I dunno, I just think not until im like 16 or 17 imma tell him.
My mom never really did, she may have tried but she doesn't.

My sister does, well at least I think. She goes out to parties like every day on the weekend haha, and she used to. Shes 18 now, I have yet to tell her.... But I just started like a month ago but I may tell her soon. I'm not sure how I will though.

And my ex that I went out with last year, that I may go outt with soon again, since some stuff happend a week ago haha but ya she texted me telling her and her friend that is in my class wants to try... So yeah. I was quite suprised, but also happy. It would be sweet to chill and smoke with a gf, but yea that will be next week.


That's basically it... Oh and the other question you asked "Do/Would they Care"

Yes my best friend I was talking about first would prob be mad at first, but I don't think he would care after a while, I think he would just think he would think its stupid....

Thanks for your input. I know it might just be due to the fact that you are new to smoking, but I find it interesting that none of your close/best friends or family members know you smoke. Out of curiosity, how did you get started then?

Well I'm not like a total badass, So like no one would ever know unless they found out... I've only been smoking about a month, and when I do I do it on the weekend or after school and just chill out for like 5 hours or whatever... So my parents would never know.

I have a few other friends that smoke, so I was just like hey man i wanna try.... Haha no pure pressure or anything, just decided I would try.

Ah, okay.

I was just curious. It sounds a lot like me when I first started. xD My only suggestion for you is to be HEAVILY ASSURED that your friends will be okay with it before you tell them. Maybe talk to them about it before they get any suspicions. I'm in a terrible situation with one of my best friends, the one who is basically a sister to me about this.

And see what his reply is... I'm not sure... i think he will be fine, and mad....

But like you said, i don't want it to ruin our relationship.
Hopefully he is okay with it, but of course I won't tell him if he has a negative response.

Most of my friends do/have tried/partake occassionally in smoking, The majority of people I know have smoked infact.

I used to get a hard time from my brother for smoking, mainly becuase I was too young but mostly because some of his childhood friends really fucked their heads/lives up from smoking TOO MUCH ganja.

Nowadays if anybody lectured me about smoking I would give them the facts they have never been told before, and send them on their way with a smile and spliff...

Well, the guys I hang out with at school are pretty big fags. None of them smoke and always make fun of me for it. I'm like "whatever dude, im not the one spending my teens sitting at home alone playing xbox". The guys I hang out with outside of school all smoke weed, so obviously they are cool with it.

The problem with my school friends is that they think they are so funny whenever they tell everyone I smoke weed. It's gotten to the point where I'm pretty sure all my teachers know I'm a stoner and pretty much everyone they ever meet because they think they are a riot. I'm not insecure with smoking weed or anything, but it just pisses me off that they think they are so funny by doing it. Like, I'll be in politics and my teacher will be like "your criminal record gets wiped of most crimes once you reach 21 (or something, that was 5 months ago and he just mentioned it once) so you don't get screwed over your whole life for doing something stupid like smoking weed once" and my friend will say loudly enough that I'm sure the teacher can clearly hear him, as well as half the class, "maybe you will be able to get a job after all, eh?".

some of my friends do,some don't.my best friend doesn't like to be around it,so i can respect that.besides i don't need to smoke around him to have fun,naturally cause he's my best friend.none of them really care that i do it though;cause it's not like it is harming me in anyway.my family doesn't really care that i do either
