Alot of people claim to have seen or have tried "Pineapple Express" but its just ur next carpet ass weed with a new name. There is no such strain.

In the comedy central special that came out before the movie was released Seth Rogan said that they made the name up but that there would suddenly be a bunch of "pineapple express" available right after the movie came out.

I know a grower that made a pinnale express strain (thats what he named it atleast) it was some really, reeeeeeaaaalllly good stuff and actually tasted a lil' like pinnaple.....damn, i wish I had some of that right now...oh well, i'm gonna see him soon, maybe he still has some

At the time of the movie being made there was none but since then there had been a new hybrid created called pinapple express, not to sure of the parents but you get the point
