me and my brother just smoked a fat bowl and we went up to the park. there was no one there and we were about to head home. Before we left i took a piss down a curly slide, and when my brother was going down the slide as well a cop rolls in and floors it and starts driving to us. my brother screams police! RUN!


so we both jump off the playground and book it to this path. once we reach the path we dip into the woods. we go a pretty good way into the woods and take a 5 min. break. were still really high and scared. All of the sudden we hear a cop car turn his sirens on and drive toward us. So by this time we agree we have to continue home thru the woods. 30 seconds later we hear another cop car. so we start running faster.. We get to this creak and its pretty much the only thing thats standing in our way to reach our house. so my brother jumps first and makes it, so now its my turn, as i prepare to jump i throw my brother who's on the other side the pipe and lighter. I make a huge jump and my foot got stuck in the mud. I pull it out real quick and we keep running home and finally make it to our backyard. and were homefree!

we go inside and just look at each other like "wow, did that really just happen?!" so i hop in the shower and my brother goes on the computer and when i come back down stairs he tells me that he saw a cop car drive down our street. So the cops were for sure after us.

now i know what we did was wrong and all, but it still makes for a good story! im just glad we got away and i didnt have to go to jail before my vacation.

consider yourself very lucky, running from cops is one of the worst choices you can ever make.

No they beleive their time is better suited catching criminals that won't kill them or physically resist arrest and beat the shit out of them.

I'm assuming this was during the night? Parks are closed at night, so it's not a very good idea to smoke at them altogether. Cops take a situation like that and think the worst like meth heads smoking... THATS ILLEGAL, or someone dropping off a dead body. If I were you I'd keep my smoking to that path you were talking about.

running from the cops is one of the worst choices you can ever make...in SOME situations.


In a situation like this where the woods are near and you are just smoking you don't have much to lose, I'd probably have done the same. They got away and it isn't like they booked it on a public road putting people in danger or anything, taking off into the woods or down a path on foot when you have some ground on the cops is not a horrible decision and is definitely your best chance at evading a UPM. If you stick around and be honest you always have the possibility that the cops are understanding and let you off but in my experiences they generally will still fuck you for smoking outside/on foot, although it really depends on the area.

And hell, smoking with some friends and looking back on situations like this are almost as fun as when your actually participating in them. You'll remember your adventure for the rest of your life and even though it may not have been the smartest choice, it worked out. Your only busted if you get caught.


- I don't advise running from the police in most situations, but each is unique and I don't see any harm in running into the woods with a little bit of bud trying to avoid a ticket and getting a little rush. Even when you get caught after events like this they are still a hell of a lot of fun to look back on.

Running from the cops COULD be the worst deciscion ever made. Ive ran a handfull of times while in wooded areas (from parties and other shaningans). It honesltly gives you a huuuuuuge adrenaline rush. As long as your on foot and under 18, i say why not run? (with the exception of this being if your already caught and you decide to be a hero)

i dont know why, we have both done it a couple times before. this time im pretty sure someone called the cops on us because there are houses off in the distance but we were deff. visable.
