Have any of you felt such an overwhelming urge to be somewhere else that it just makes you depressed, angry...? I have felt this way for way too long...but I don't know how to change it...I don't have the money to move...If I could, I would just hitchhike to Guam and be a beach bum...but that is impossible...Ocean...no passport, no money, not to mention that I am in a long term relationship...but I am even willing to let that go if only I could just be somewhere else...I just feel like getting in my car and driving until I run out of gas...but that wont get me far...plus...no money for more...

yup used that line before. just quit my job at heb. don't know exactly why tho. just did. i too have been going tru all this. don' know. ha damn doctor said im bipolar again and put me on seroquel and well butrin, i stoped smoking around that same time. stated smoking again. all better.(stopped taking meds.)

hey man youve only got one life to life do whatever you feel like and if that means leaving behind everything in your old life then do it man, if your girl wont come with you then shes against you, do what you feel is right and what you want to....the universe does unfold as it should but you've still gotta encourage that. If you stay in that place your whole life you'll always just wonder what would've happened if you left.

I get extremely irritable during the summer months here in Jersey. The heat just saps my energy and gets me downright miserable at times. But for now I'm stuck here, though in a few years I plan on moving somewhere far North. I don't know what my family was thinking when they came to this country. I'm thinking Alaska, Canada or preferable Norway/Sweden if I save up enough and spend enough time studying.

I've got some decent friends here, but honestly I'd rather move someplace else than hang around this ass-swamp hellhole the rest of my life. Plus Scandinavia has a huge metal scene. Mwa ha ha ha.

But it's true. You are in this life, whether you believe in an afterlife/reincarnation or whatever, it's yours to control. If you don't like something, motivate yourself to change it and you will be rewarded. It takes some big steps but you'll feel a hell of a lot more better if you do. Just save up as much cash as you can from each paycheck. It'll add up over time...maybe even find a friend who will room with you? It'll make it a lot easier on yourself.

I don't know what it is, but for the last...well ten years...but mostly in the last six months I have had the urge to be on an island, to live off of the fruits of the island, to sustain myself through my own means such as foraging, fishing, and bartering...I am so sick of the bullshit that comes with modern living, ipods, the internets, president this, and president that...war, poverty...THE MAN!

This urge just feels like something higher than me telling me, urging me to be somewhere else, urging me to be surrounded in a setting that will make me happy. I am so unhappy where I am right now that that could be anywhere...but for some reason, I just cant shake the feeling that some place tropical is where I need to be.

I've been feeling the SAME WAY. I live off my land, planted a garden. Because one day we will all be liveing like that. War, economy, over poplulation, the world can't go on forever this way, and nature usually has a way of acheveing a very nive balance with-in it's self.
