| For a large percentage of the people in this country, the WoD doesn't effect them in any way shape or form. If they had to vote on it, all they'd think is "well...drugs kill...i'll vote no" because in truth they don't care, are not aware of it, and don't want to take the time to think about it. Therefore we have to get our message out if we want to be heard...that's why i come here... I think however, that slowly things are changing. More and more everyday i see reports about Marijuana and other drugs on the news, and slowly people are becoming aware. The day when people start caring about what is happening with the drug war is the day that this will all end. | |

| we all know the WOD is a scam, but the majority of society has been brainwashed. our last 2 presidents have used illegal drugs and know its no big deal but they both dodge the issue. eventhough weed is illegal we can all get some if we want it. thats why most potheads dont do anything for legalization. most of us just accept the hassles that come along with pot smoking (drug testing, high prices, constant fear of the police). the drug war follows no logic, how can we fight it? states have voted for medical marijuana and the federal government overturned it. people used the agrument that medical marijuana sends kids a wrong message. what about morphine? its a potent addictive drug that is sometimes used recreationally and it is still legal for medical use. how about killers like tobacco and alcohol? they are A OK. sorry about the rant. i was away for awhile but now i am back. what i am trying to say is that logic doesnt apply to the WOD. its perpetuated by fear. "what about the children?" no one is advocating drugs for children. yadayadayada later | |
