I would like all of your opinions on this for those of you have done it. I'm the occasional smoker and I had a lot of fun withit over the summer. My friend lives right down the road in the woods and wants to know if I wanna toke up in the woods before catching the bus.

My question is, when you come to school high do you still do just as well academically? I have some smart friends who smoke and they say it's no problem but I know they must be impaired. I'm taking advanced classes and am very motivated, but if there is a chance that my grades will suffer I won't do it. What do you think about this subject? Thanks.

Nah.... i went to school high all the time. And i always did good on tests and what not. But it really all depends on your tolerance lvl.

Pot has been proven to affect short-term memory, especially when you're stoned. If you take notes and study regularly you should have no problem. Math was always hardest the hardest for me. I was in Honors Algebra 3(pre-calc) and I would never pay attention to what he said. I also stopped doing my homework cause I would be high and math homework and high do not mix. But I did all my English papers high. But that wasn't really till the end of my senior year, so really everyones grades drop a little. I think I had a C in that class at the end of my senior year, but the rest of my grades were A's and B's. I think I had 3.7 from all of high school.

So, to wrap things up, as long as you do your homework and study you will be ok. You just gotta make sure you do those things. And don't do it everday. That way, if there was something you didn't understand cause you were high, you can ask the teacher the next day. Oh man, I'm really high right now

I've been high at school before and I would go to school high but I don't really like it that much. If Im high at school then I get really out of it in class and the teacher cracks me up. But its still kinda fun, I do better in art when I'm high. Last year I took my english exam stoned as a frog and that was the funniest damn exam that Ive ever taken!

thanks for your thoughts! i do want to stay on topic but friends will know i'm high. If a teacher suspects you're high what's the worst they could do? keep your ideas on the topic coming.

Oh the memories!! I do it occasinally, it's really fun, but hard to pay attention. For me it was.. I wouldn't reccomend doing it unless your good at hiding it from other people. Later..

i did it a binch at the beginning of last year, but it was never that fun and i always got realy tired by like 3rd period. i think i prob will alot during teh first ahlf of the year becaseu i have either Lab Aide (prep labs or its a sudy) or gym 1st period, which is going to be like an hour and a half this year becasue of stupid block scheduling crap

i went to school high a couple of times, and i recommend it every once in a while. there is a logic to it though, don't do too much, you don't want your eyes to be all bloodshot or anything, i'd say one bowl is definitely the max. as far as impact on grades, i was a very good student, and it doesn't affect you academically if you only do it once in a while, make sure you take notes in class if you're super worried, plus what you wrote down will be funny as hell later. its a good idea to tell people that you feel slightly sick *before* they notice anything. DO NOT tell anyone that you're high, word getting around isn't a good thing. i always told people that i'd been up really late the night before, and they never even questioned a thing
