"He giveth grass for cattle and plants for cultivation by man" PSALMS 104:14

If you believe God created every living thing then you know God put no evil in any of his work. One of Gods creations has been criminalized. And for what? Because of people who say there is evil in it. But wait a minute, i thought that anything God created has no evil. the answer is simple there is no evil in it. I do not say these people are just saying trash just to say trash. No these people are brainwashed into believing their is evil in this beautiful plant God created before they even hear the true story.

Let me pursue happiness. My unalienable right. But by brainwashing everyone into believing their is evil in it. They took that unalienable right. Im not saying go kill your neighbor if it makes you happy. Im saying I want the right to be able to go smoke a joint in the comfort of my home without disrupting any body elses pursuit of happiness.

WE ALL NEED TO STAND UP AND GO FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHT. OUR UNALIENABLE RIGHT. IF YOU NEVER GET UP AND SPEAK UP NO ONE EVER WILL.

First off, don't get me wrong, b/c I agree with you. I smoke moderately and in a way to enhance my life, and I think that it should definitely be legal. But please, if you are so gunghoe about legalization, talking up the fight and all this, you'll have to do better than this weak argument. I bet for all the things in the bible that people say show how god put weed here for man, etc etc, there are ten things that show that that doesn't mean he wants people to use it, as you like to say. Come on, how do you explain one of the most popular bible stories, the adam and eve story? the "tree of life", the serpent tempting them, etc etc. Instead you cite some psalm that doesn't even clearly relate to pot, in my opinion. Remember, I'm on your side, but if you truly want to use the whole religion argument, you need to study both sides. And maybe you have, maybe I am underestimating you, but the original post is exactly the type of thing that raises stereotypes and gets us nowhere.

As I sit here typing this im thinking about what yall had to say. And its true my view in the thread is a little weak. so I must revise. Religion shouldn't be brought up in this fight. My view on the subject is very much diffrent than what yall just read. My view on the subject is about lies. Lies THEY know they are saying. Lies that the american people believe. Their believing lead to their belief on the subject. When they have a belief about something they most times are stubborn and wish not listen to anybody that stands against that belief. The people standing against their belief on the subject which is us will have to find a way to show them the truth we have to find a way to let us properly discuss the subject to our parents, teachers, mentors, brothers, sisters, and everybody else to let them realize that their is a blind fold over their eyes, plugs in their ears, and gag on our word.

Technically, God also put opium, cocaine, and poison ivy on this plannet. Not everything here is good for us.

I do think cannabis should be a legal plant, along with a lot of other herbs, but religion is not a valid argument.
