Marijuana's effects on the lungs are even more devastating than cigarettes. One joint is equal to a full pack of cigarettes. Smoking marijuana can lead to emphysema, bronchial inflammation and a significant increase in lung cancer.
Marijuana suppresses the immune system's ability to protect itself from virus and bacteria. This makes it difficult for the body to prevent the growth of cancer cells.
If you are a pregnant mother, you should definitely not smoke marijuana. It can lower birth weights and increase abnormalities such smaller head, poor growth, irritability and symptoms similar to fetal alcohol syndrome.
Unlike cigarettes, marijuana is illegal. Possession of marijuana can lead to fines and jail time for an adult. For children under 18 years of age, marijuana can lead to probation and juvenile detention.
Is smoking marijuana worth the breakdown of the body, mind and emotions? Is it worth fines, probation and jail time? Is it worth the breakdown of your family? How about the money you could save for fun with your friends and family? Think about it.
This is all true, whether you like it or not... ignorance is bliss. So are you going to sit here and read all these pro-marijuana sites saying "its safe"? Anything you inhale is bad for you, especially marajuana. "god gave us marijuana" BULL****, read the old and new testimates stating that marijuana is an EVIL plant.. satans herb, it is all true. And if you reply to this thread saying "marijuana isint bad for you....smoke up!" then your in denial..and your encouraging young minds to go ahead and smoke pot.... You know its bad, you just sont want to admit it.. i have admitted to myself that it is indeed bad... i quit smoking pot... nothing but trouble.
Think of all the money i spent on pot.... 1000$ of dollars these 5 years maybe even more! I wasted my young life away on marijuana...
Lost alot of good friends and i lost ALOT of respect from my family. They call me a loser, which infact it is true...i am a loser...i smoke pot
Think of the damage i have done to my body, my heart, my lungs, my mind. Everytime i get up in the morning i can feel my brain hurting. You and I are slowly killing ourselves... and the weapon of choice is marajuana. Just like fat people with food, same exact thing.
And bob marley didn't die from an injury in his foot from playing soccer. It was marijuana! He has cancer in HIS LUNGS in HIS BRAIN and STOMACH... all because of marajuana. He grew up around it, he most likley smoked it when he was a little kid. think about it guys....dont let these sites brainwash you thinking marajuana is safe..... im not a christian, im not with the government....i just a lowly potsmoker that wants to stand up on the soapbox and SCREAM the total truth to you all.... and if your a new smoker GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN i am not ****ing around kiddys...marijuana is bad.

First of all Thanks to the person that showed me this post today! It allowed me to come visit your site and have a good laugh.

I think "What we have here, is failure to communicate."

Fact... Using marijuana has some negative effects on your body. We all know that.

Fact... Using marijuana can have good medical/psychological effects on your body and mind. (I don't need to name sources on this, the debate is all over the web)

Fact... Nobody has ever od'ed from marijuana use.

Fact... People die often from od'ing on tylenol.

Fact... There is no statistical proof that marijuana kills human brain cells.

Fact... Drink a drink. Brain cells die. (do you drink?)

Fact... My wife loves when I get high. I am more open, honest, sensual, artistic, sexual, fun, creative, loving, forgiving, talkative, understanding than when I am not.

Fact... Marijuana enhances my life. Perhaps I may have fewer years from smoking it, but the years I have are much more full.

Okay... If you want to live a little longer, dont drive a car, stay in your house, quit eating microwaved food (or any processed food for that matter), move to somewhere without any pollution, get off your computer (you may get carpal tunnel) and hide under a rock.

Kinda sucky world if you cannot enjoy your life.

Smoking marijuana is the least of my worries.

Do I need marijuana? Nope... But I enjoy marijuana. I also enjoy and respect my life.

By all means, if smoking weed causes you this much strife, quit. If I was that paranoid, I'd quit also.

I am an ex-stoner.... nobodys paying me to say this... this is from my own experience with marijuana and TONS of people feel the same way about it as i do (aswell in the same possition). You need to educate yourself... you need to stop listening to people who say "marijuana isint a drug... etc etc" because it is a drug. Ignorance is bliss... thats what i always say. And for you to call me ignorant is total ignorance...my information is strictly on FACT not FICTION.
I really dont give a **** what road you decided to choose in life.. im done with marijuana, im so tired of it. It brings you down, and in some point in your life you will be brought down HARD... possible jail sentances, loose your familys repsect, loose your health, your pride, your common sense... all because of what? A plant, a ****ing plant?
If you want to live in this society you got to follow the rules... society is **** but we have to live in it anyways. Smoking isint worth it guys, rotting for 4 years in prison isint my scene.. if its yours then smoke up.
