Just have a quick question.

In a few days I'm going to Otakon (an anime convention) in Baltimore, Maryland. I'm going with a big group of people and sharing a hotel with about 3 of them (all girls). During one point in the trip I'd like to get high but I'm pretty sure the group and especially a few of those people aren't big on weed, nor want any trouble during the trip. I concluded that the only time I could get high would be in the bathroom while the rest of them are getting ready. I'd put towels next to the bottom of the door, and the bathroom most likely had a fan so I can get rid of the smoke.

I pretty much know where I stand on this but I wanted to know if any others were ever in the same situation and/or had any advice to offer.

You know, you'll probably run into some potheads there. Let's just say, the first and only times I ever got REALLY MESSED UP partying, was at ACEN.

Otherwise, I eagerly wait for others' responses.

Dude, what's wrong with going outside and finding somewhere safe to do it. Are you all going to be attached by one big teather line that you have to go everywhere together. There are going to be plenty of places around hotels to get high outside of your room that are also safe because well you don't want to get arrested too. Recon the property when you get there. Make it like a military operation.

Dude, Sean Penn went on to win an Oscar. Actually Fast Times produced 3 Oscar award winning actors. I'm sure if Chris Penn was still around he would have some experience on smoking in hotel rooms.

Always try the roof access too dude.

I'd go up on the roof, if possible. No problem with smell and full awareness of who's around.

make yourself a bounce tube. take those fabric softener sheets you put in the dryer and stuff a bunch of them into a toilet paper roll or something similar. just blow the smoke through that towards the fan and it will come out smelling like fresh laundry.

Good suggestion! I also saw that device on the forums called a spoof.

I'd also recommend smoking with a bowl that has a cap on the top. This will help with excess non-awesome-scented smoke escaping into the air.
