| It was an eye opener, did it a lot when I was younger then I just stopped. I lost sight of all my goals, just stopped caring...starting the weed again was like being given the gift of sight again. I'm focused, happy, confident...it all just came together again. Lost all those extra lbs gained over christmas, got back into weight lifting.....I love you Mary Jane A free mind is a reachable goal...just believe | |

| Jr. Member | Yep, I'd go with most of that... more laid-back, more open-minded, generally mellower. But I'm not sure that that's necessarily the drug itself: did my views change when I started smoking hash, or did I start smoking hash as my views changed? For me I think it was more the latter. Over the last six years, (since I started college), I've been gradually drifting away from the scientific, sure person I was into someone who's not certain about anything anymore. (Which, by the way, I think is a good way to be). Six years ago, I'd never have even considered smoking pot, but that dogma eventually bit the dust along with a lot of others. A change for the better... ![]()

| It has made me more "even" (mellow would be a good word) and made me feel good about all the things I have. In that way, it served me better than Prozac, Paxyl or those other anti-depression drugs. ![]() I am calmer and more pleasant…can't argue with that! Cheers! ![]() | |

| New Member | Similar to KWhite - 9 years military, but I had never touched the stuff. Got out, and was relatively uptight. Hit a joint one day, and that was it - started a trend of being more relaxed, open minded, and less judgemental. |

| Jr. Member | Not sure if it's simply me growing up in the slightly more overwhelming world of university, or the bud, but people tell me I'm a little more pleasant to be around, that I've lost that 'god complex' I used to have. In any case I would contend that marijuana has helped me better see who I am, and become a better people person. Sounds like this is the case for a lot of you out there too! peace |

| New Member | I would say that smoking has definately allowed me to explore different areas in life. I went from," This is how it has to be", to, " Why don't we try something new and see what happens". I became more in touch with the world around me instead of " my world" that I live in everyday. I have become more tolerant of others, and I am willing to listen to people just ramble on about meaningless topics. We all need a little something to relax us, so I chose weed. Peace. ![]()
