I had this topic on the previous forums, just thought i'd bring it back

Has marijuana changed you in anyway( ie personality, clothing style, music, religious beliefs, etc)?? Weed has changed me many ways. I'm definatly a more positive person now, i am able to take set backs a lot better than i used to. Weed has changed my religious beliefs too. After i got done smoking one time I started thinking about it and later decided to become agnostic(wont get into it cause it'd be in the wrong forum ) I haven't really changed my clothing style although im less concerned about what i'm wearing. As far as music, I have really changed, previously i just mostly liked punk( and i still do), but thanks to weed i really appretiate many kinds of music now( oldies, jam bands, techno, classic rock, etc etc.) Previously i always used to tell people their music sucked if i didn't listen to it. Now i'm definatly much more open and respect people's freedom of choice. What about you guys?

i think weed has made me try to see the whole picture of everything and seek out the truth instead of being a political robot, and it has also gave me a better understanding of Allah (God to you christians) i find that i can interpret the verses out of the Quran the Bible and the Toroah (i read them all Allah put the Quran,Bible and the Toroah her to inform us and i dont feel that one can understand the intentions of Allah without reading all of his books that were sent to us through the phrophets) better under the influence of weed

I must say that since I have started smoking I have noticed the following changes.
(1) Much more laid back, and relaxed.
(2) More tolerant of other people
(3) More dedicated worker
(4) Generally happier

Weed makes it possible for me to tolerate all the fools I deals with at work and in life. It also makes it easier for me to create art.

Ummm I came out of 12 years of combat soldier military.....very uptight.
Extremely violent and cold.
After I consciously decided to take marijuana up again, then turned my wife on to it.
we started talking, deep philosophical talks long into the nights.
I /we are calmer now, the sunsets are prettier,even when I am straight, the violence is a seldom remembered part of my past.
I truly believe marijuana helped me shed so much of the(necessary) dehumanization a career combat soldier must have.
At one pointin time another life was never more important to me than my own.
It is beat into us...good if he dies, bad if you die.
This does not go away with a discharge.
sitting with stoners, smoking and basking in the calm and clarity marijuana gives toa receptive mind, changed me.
I am a better person for it.

Its definatley changed me. I start analysing alot off stuff, and it makes me more phiosophical. All this usualy sticks with me after I am high....sort of leaves an imprint on my brain....almost always a good change comes about in my personality. Weed is definatley a life changing substance, not only a mind-altering substance.

how was I changed? let me count the ways with a list=1...

1. negativity go bye bye!
2. I became a lot more open minded than I was (which is difficult for everyone, and I have always been rather open. Hell, I'm a Buddhist, half russian, half apache bisexual of Jewish decent!)
3. Helped me understand a hell of alot of inside jokes! If I had known all the popular media and culture/subculture types who were pro herb while I was anti-herb (yes, i bought into the drug war propaganda... i thought weed would make me fat and lazy. I've lost weight and gotten a job..) I would have been kicking myself. me and herb were meant to be, my favorite music was all regae, punk, rock and ska and my favorite authors were all stoners and druggies!
4. changed my political views. I once was a nowist (pop culture term for fools who follow the current leader unerringly.) and the moment I got high i went straight to the green party! I always vote green, y'all! Money, herb and saint patties beer... the best things in life are green... and pink
5. I became a much stronger worker, thanks to my new positive outlook. Earth was suddenly worth working for! I went from jewish (which i never truly was, just raised to be) to pagan (great parties, but neo pagans just aren't spiritual enough ) to wiccan (similar problems to neo-paga and drui) to buddhist... Gotta say i love buddhism. Zen and proud, baby, that's a contradiction. Yer so money and you don't even know it, baby, daddy gonna get you some beautiful babies baby!
6. Much more appreciative of other people. I'm not proud of some of the things i have done, and i feel that being able to empathise with other people makes up for that. I won't sh1t you, some of the crap i have done for this country will send you to hell in any religion, and i don't believe in repentance, but i do believe in making right what's wrong. Anything that encourages love and communication and understanding is inherently good and that is that.
7. i still hate the allman brothers. sorry.
8. Definately made me more appreciative of 711!

Anyhoo, GotGods, it's spelled Torah, and the christian G-d is simply a "kinder, gentler" version of the old testament rain-o-fire hashem adonoi. I guess losing your only son can do that to an immortal trancendental deity.

If you reread the Torah I am sure you'll find the principal differences between hashem and Allah:

Hashem, Adonoi and Jaweh mean, in order, Creation, the Word and Healing. Those are the ideals a man must live up to in order to be righteous and trancend, according to judaism.

Allah.. well, you allready know about that, i am sure, but the value is simply different. I won't go on cuz this be the wrong forum, i just wanted to point that out
