Exclamation

Don't you hate it when people tell you that the reason for whatever problem you may be having in your life is because you smoke too much pot????

My boss was being a total ****in bitch (nothing new) today and I stormed out of the room to keep from blowing up and telling her to **** off to her face. I went into the room where another co-worker of mine was working, and he told me that he heard the whole conversation between us and the reason for it all was because I smoke too much weed.

So the fact that my boss is a tight-assed, hypocritical bitch is because I smoke too much pot? The reason I don't understand her bull**** because I smoke too much pot? POT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!!!! I know this happens a lot to all of you -- dumbass people blaming pot-smoking for things that really have nothing to do with it. So sound off!!!!!!!!! Doesn't it make you ****in mad???? Share your story!

I think your boss must be a victum of our "drug war". She see's marijuana as a brain-killer, and think's it's affecting your job.

Now, she couldn't have just been blowing up at you like that just because you smoke pot. You must have been coming to work stonned or something to piss her off.

If that's the case, I would really recommend not coming into work stonned... I know it's much more fun, but I don't think it's worth your job!

Actually, I was completely sober at the time, not stoned at all. My boss is just a bitch, that's true, and I think you're right, people buy into all the drug war **** and they assume that if you smoke pot you are thereby ****ing up all aspects of your life. AAAARGH!!!!!!! People really piss me off sometimes......

Default HAIL BOB!

"Fugg 'em if they can't take a joke," says J.R. "Bob" Dobbs.

Everyone who knows me knows it's a damned good thing I smoke herb. There is, of course, such a thing as smoking too much, but when you do that you just don't function... you wouldn't HAVE a job if you smoked too much.

Sheesh. You can smoke every night as long as you are sober for any rationality requiring responsibilities.

Thank you, SonOfaGlitch, that's exactly what I say. My rationale is that as long as my smoking does not interfere with my school (I have a 4.0 at UT-Austin, so I'd have to say it doesn't) or with my work (which it hasn't, contrary to what some people believe), I dont' see it as a problem. My best friend smokes every night and is a top-notch student and an excellent worker.

Man, it was just discovered that Shakespeare may have smoked marijuana. I mean, if he can smoke and still write like 50 of the best pieces of literature in the English language, Joe Schmoes like us should be able to achieve at least a mildly beneficial existence with the involvement of pot.

Default CountessBathory...

What did you say to your moron coworker? I would really like to know. I hate people like that, and I dont even know any people like that. Except on the radio once, this stupid lady said everyone who smokes weed is just a burnout and ruining their lives, and I hate her for it. I cant stand sh*t like that, its one of those things that sets something off in me.

Anyway, what did you say?

I think I reminded my moron co-worker that he has been arrested twice for public intoxication (alcohol is his drug of choice, something he's very proud of...sorry, mods), while I've never gotten myself into trouble once. I may use a different, ah, breed of intoxicants than he does, but I'm a hell of a lot smarter about it. (He's a bouncer at a nightclub, something he's also very proud of...god, I hate him so ****ing much!!!)

Fortunately, I don't work there anymore (I posted that a long time ago). Check the urine testing forum for my current employment situation. :-)

Peace,
Countess B.

Marijuana can be a positive influence, or a negative influence, depending on your situation, and how you choose to use it. I know people who smoke entirely too much pot, and that's definitely a bad thing. When your whole lifestyle revolves around smoking pot... it's time to change something. But if you're a perfectly normal, well-adjusted individual who get their **** done, on time, and their work is high quality.. it can be a positive thing. Marijuana definitely leads to creativity. When I get high, I feel like it opens new doors, and breaks down barriers in my mind. It allow me to think SO freely!
