this was another pretty big thread but here it goes again: what is the meaning behind your name on the board?

Jack Torrance is the name of the main character in the shining (Jack Nicholson's character) and i love both the movie and the book (although the book is better). it was also my mp3/music vid serving name on irc for awhile, but i have recently stopped. this is also my name at the shroomery and yahooka.

Panama

When I was 13 years old I was sitting around with some buddies of mine listening to my new album The Adventures of Panama Red by The New Riders of the Purple Sage and smoking some righteous doobies when suddenly it dawned on my best friend that my last name is Red. From that day on I was called Panama.

Kinda long story.

I was smoking some ish at a party with a bunch of guys a few years older then me. There was a newbie smoker there and he was constantly going on and on with questions like "Will my parents smell it? What if I get caught? Will anyone see us? Is it really bad for my lungs?" Don't get me wrong, these are some fine questions, but this guy was going ON and ON about them. So one guy in the circle got really pissed off and said, "Look, SHUT UP. THEN you can get baked with us." So the guy shut up and get baked.

This happened a few days prior to my signing up here, and I still found it funny. So I rearranged the phrase to:

S.hut U.p A.nd BAKE. Y.ourself.

SUABAKEY.

I think I was high when I made it...

I first joined Marijuana.com because my sister was a moderator here. Since I rarely smoked pot (and had been especially long without it at the time) I thought it was the perfect smart alec nickname to tell my sister that I registered under

After all...I was the "good girl" of the family

Now of course if someone were to shout out goodgirl or GG at a party I would more than likely turn to answer them. I spend waaaaaaay too much time here
