Even in a hypothetic situation I would not harm another individual. I will go, and have gone, to jail for my beliefs, but violence in any form only begats more violence.

That must have taken some courage, Panama. What exactly did they lock you up for?

I think if it were just me that was concerned, I'd be prepared to stick my neck out, although I don't know if I'd honestly have the grit to go to jail for it. But I'm kind of in a position where I think it'd really hurt my family if I did. I think they might just about be able to accept that I smoked it myself; but if I appeared on the evening news at a rally with a big joint in my mouth, that might push them a bit too far!

Still, I do what I can. It doesn't really arise too much here in Ireland anyway, because our decriminalisation lobby isn't very big yet. But we're working on it...

I hate it when I have to deal with greedy and selfish people at work. I have to work with these people. I'm tired of it already.
Why can't the workplace be full of decent people?
Employers are the most evil institutions in this world. They want to suck everything out of you.
That's why I need to relax.

Good question. I really wouldn't WANT to hurt anybody. I would defend myself & others if physically threatened, but if it was a battle in the streets, it's just hard to say. There'd probably be other things I could do to support the struggle. Trying to beat them with guns etc, you know they'll always have more.
Small, organized groups are usually more effective than chaos, but people are so divided that it'd just be pretty crazy.
What was that saying, "....not with a bang but with a whimper?" Maybe if there was no more tv people would start paying attention. If the electricity was out for about a week all over the US, we'd see some changes going down!

I'm with you, but marijuana is not something to kill or die for. I would completely be willing to "fight" though, and very publically. In fact, I'm in San Diego, so anyone hit me up!
