Every drug dealer I've known has been a scuzzball. They rip people off, they're shifty and manipulative. This one guy I bought from a couple of times tried to get my roommate to have sex in exchange for weed. (She kicked him out of the apartment). Even cool, weed-only hippie dealers are still shady, from what I've seen.

Of course, without dealers I'd be out of weed - at least here in the idiot south, and in the city. I'm not doing 5 years for growing in my house! And there is an element of class-difference here. Cause while I'm going to college and buying skimpy quarters, some poor kid is risking jail to bring me weed.

Still, dealers suck! And when marijuana is legalized, I'll be happy to never see a dealer again.

Most of the dealers I go through are also my friends, so, no, I have never had a problem with them. I have met some people like you describe, and I usually do not buy from them after I find out what they are like (unless all my normal dealers are dry- that does not usually happen since I know like 8 dealers and I live in a small town (3000))...

i dont have any problems with any of my dealers

sure some are paranoid and seem sketchy...but thats part of the game

if it wasnt for dealers there would be no hook ups

Like the previous post most of my dealers are friends of mine. Sure I know a few asshole dealers. I have a friend at school that sells alot of weed to kids in the dorms. They pay 2 to 3 times what I would pay for the same stuff. It's really based on who you know and what you know.

Dealers are amongst the shadiest people on Earth. The simple fact that they are profiting off of the drug war turns my stomache.

Yes they are a necessary evil for now...but one of the things I look forward to is putting dealers out of business.

For those that have fabulous hook ups...good for you Way too many of us have to rely on chance and shady encounters in order to obtain something that we should be able to go down the street and pick up in a well lit store.

No one wants the war on drugs to continue more than the dealers. The simple fact that so many of them also sell the harder drugs does nothing to endear them to me.

Of course a whole group of people can not be lumped together. But I would say for the most part...your dealer is not your friend. They are in it for what they can get. If we try not to forget that we will be much better off.

sounds to me like your not a very good buisness man of course the dealer is gonna hook u up skimp if you let him truth is he thinks that you think your buying a strait sack but your really saying to yourself"god this is skimp" just be strait up with him hell give in just say im not giving you 25 dolars for this unless you through in another blunt if he says fine then leave once you start to leave i promise that 8 out of 10 times he'll stop you before you leave and throw in that extra little bit or lower the price after all like you said he needs the money and the sex thing you mentioned youve never got a girl drunk before to try and get her to have sex with you its the same thing P.S. oh by the way me and several of my friends used to deal for a certain someones uncle and i used to hook people up skimp to if they would pay for it and seemed to be satisfied and i didnt do it cuzz i was poor i did it cuzz i could make a whole weeks worth of work in about two nights

Here's my opinion and i don't mean to tread on anyone's ideals.

so here goes:

Dealers, in my experience, are just like used car dealers. Some are more moral than others and they all have personal ethics... whether that ethic is building a good business relationship or getting as much from you for as little as they can give, that's ethics.

I've had experience with many many kinds of dealers and i find that if you meet the criteria of suburbanite-in-the-wrong-part-of-town then you get ripped off, especially if you don't say anything. I'm lucky enough to live in a state where a good connection is always somewhere, just gotta find it, if one dealer is going to rip me off i say "no, give me more, or i'm going to my best rasta friend and getting some white widow."

as far as the easiest (dirt weed, always there, almost an institution) hookup around is concerned (you know, they will sometimes rip people off if they think they can.) i'm a 'regular customer'. they call me buy my pseudonym and give me much better deals than any other people not from that part of town get. You just have to earn respect..

or you can be a sheep like one friend of mine who would go half as far in town as I do, buy from these b*stards who bought from my dealers and then sold him their nicks for twenty bucks.

Well some dealers I have met are ok. Yea, they give some skimpy bags. But they make more money that way and thats what keeps this WoD going, greed and drugs.

I just want to find some old hippie that grows for himself, but I become friends with him and we just chill and smoke good bud all day and he'll tell me great stories about the 60's and 70's.

Guys seriously ask your "friend" the dealer if he wants the war on drugs to stop and see how he replies. Fact is all the dealers i know dont want weed legalized cause they want the ability to buy a pound of weed for 150 and sell it individually for 500. Sure your dealer can sell you good sized bags but think of how much work goes into growing weed....NONE! You throw seeds in a pot water it and wait thats it and yet we mostly pay 50 dollars for a half ounce of a plant that can yield up to a pound. Its a ridiculous cycle and i for one will be glad when its all over with for many reasons.

One is i dont have to worry about pushers buying my weed from dairy mart or cvs, but i do when buyign from a dealer. Most dealers i have seen start with weed and then grab heavier stuff when its cheap, alls they care about it how much money they make off of you. Its funny that the war on drugs is fighting so hard to end dealers because of their gateway theory and yet they directly make kids go on to use harder drugs by putting it in there faces. Fact is if you go to cvs to buy weed you will be influenced to buy something else as well...A candy bar or some gum or potato chips but certainly not other drugs like E or cocaine or any damn thing like that, those things are crap and destroy peoples bodies and minds. And yet we all have to fuel the evil for now just to score some smoke, damn you law makers and jim crow advocates i hope you burn in hell for what you've done

My dealer is ok. like last week i whent to his selling spot, i asked for some and he goes telling me that weed is getting more expensive and harder to find, since lots of the trucks with the weed (i mean tons of weed) are getting cought on the roads and sh*t. and he tell me that hash is easier to find these days. so i say ok let me have some hash then (he goes to his house, and 10 minutes later...) he comes with the hash ball, and some weed. He goes "here man, heres your stuff. so you know how to prepare hash??" and im like wtf is he talking about. then i say whatta the hell i smoke it here. he goes cool man. We smoke around the 4th hit im already high and him and his friends start talking some creepy stuff. "there is a dude hitting on my chick, if i see him anywhere around him i´ll put a bullet in his head" by that time i´m pissing on my pants. and i go away, scared heheh. BTW he is like 15-16 years old, and he smokes some laced stuff that i wanna stay away from. besides his pshyco talk hi´s okay

and a question for you guys!

Would you deal weed?
i would never deal weed, dealers have a much worse rep that smokers. besides, i know how to get to the little dealers, how the hell would i find those mega-mafia-super-dealers?!?!

all in all dealers suck
