I think everyone, from all walks of life, likes to get high. The only thing your economic standing determines is the quality of weed you can buy. I happen to live in a pretty pimpin part of town, so the chronic is readily available

However, I used to know people from GHETTO areas (Barrio Logan), talking about the "chronic" they're about to "score". Like it's some sort of foreign delicacy.

So really, everyone blazes but with different rates/prices/frequency.

I'm in college, and in from an upper class family. I know plenty of broke stoners and plenty of them who have cash to spare. I don't think it tells you anything about how a person's doing money wise.

i think im considered a low class stoner. i go to college, live with my dad, and we scrape to get by. its true, people you dont expect get high. i just found out that my mom tokes up a lot. all sorts of people smoke for a number of reasons. if because of illnesses or fun or to relax or any other reason one can think of, it really isnt set on a social structure of smokers, its more of a system of reasons to smoke. people in every social class smoke, and thats what seperates us. but most of the reasons to smoke are similar. if im living at home going to college and need to relax, or just roofed a house in the blazing heat and need to take my mind off of my blisters on my back, or...
i hope im not just rambling, and that someone gets what is being read. If you were able to smoke whenever you wanted, would you? i know i would and do every chance i get. thats where the social ladder pops up. if i have a lot of money, that means i can buy more. but if its between baby formula for the infant or a joint for me and the mrs., then ill probobly have to go without for a little while. the main determining factor if anyone smokes is if they want to or not. put yourself in a different social class, would you still smoke if you were the presedent? or how about a financial advisor? college student? teacher? police officer? newscaster? you could be smoking in any of these categories, but you need to be selective when doing it. most people feel that smoking has to be a secret (and to some extent, it does), and that is mostly the reason you dont know other people out of your social class that smoke. it is more common to make friends near or at your social class than it is to leap up or down a few bars on the ladder, know what i mean? ( i wont feel bad if you dont )

I've encountered stoners from all walks of life.....the rich, the poor, the bums, the workaholics. Weed appeals to people of all types, and attempting to classify smokers as being from one socioeconomic background or another are doomed for disaster.....far too many different types of people enjoy puffing to ever classify the "typical' smoker

yea i certainly think every socio-economic status smokes weed. i mean im just a college smoker, but iv smoked with allll kilds of people from many diffrent economic backrounds. this summer i worked in a cemetary, and some of the workers were pretty poor(the reason wa they were literaly fresh out of jail) an d couldnt get another job. i guess the only thing i could speculate is that in the richer sections were i have smoked, like with college kids, the quality of the weed is usually much better. but people smoke everywhere

My familys lower-middle class sinces my dads an eletrical engineer and he earns £28k a year and my mate seems to have endless supply of money

well cause 75% of my city is full of spoiled bastards who i want to take my 2.5 ton car to!
the main stoners are actuly middle-class to upper class
very small lower class in my city (except me, and my neighborhood and another neighborhood about 4 miles north-east)

but i do think quite a few people in my neighborhood are stoners or regular off-topic drugs (its amazing, my friend has done all off-topic drugs except weed)


but i do believe there is a strong influence of drugs in my city, either that or most the kids in the Junior and sophomore class are a bunch of loser posers who should be shot in the face (except they should, spoiled kids really piss me off, no offense to the forum)
