Ok so heres my plan. Im working all summer to raise money to go on a trip to amsterdam. I need people to go with me though cause my friends are all bums ( i wouldnt take them anyway (haha if you guys read this you suck) ) so i was wondering two things, does anyone here around 18 want to go to amsterdam and wouldnt mind going with a complete stranger, and two does anyone have suggestions on like a specific airline to take or what not.

If anyone would like to join me let me know im guessing the trips gonna cost about 900 dollars cause thats how much the cannabis cup costs from high times. But let me be to the point here, if anyone is thinking of bringing anything back im gonna throw you off the plane mid flight and i mean that.

Ohh and for those that would want to im sure we can chat and get to know each other a bit more, im hoping to go sometime around mid august which gives 5 months to start saving up cash. So what do you all say?

And have needed a reason to get out to Amsterdam. Northwest/KLM have direct flights (like flight 42) from Minneapolis to Amsterdam. (yea, that is right, flight 42)

I wanted to go this spring, but never did. I would not mind having some folks to go with regardless if I knew them or not.

Cool idea, Cleric!

I was in Amsterdam last year with a few friends. It was, as Austin Powers might have said, shagadelic. Took me a week to come down afterwards. And I'm not exaggerating...

I'm going interrailing (travelling around Europe on a cheap rail ticket) with a few friends in August, and we're hoping to kick off in Amsterdam. (i.e. get sorted for the rest of the trip ) We haven't really finalised anything yet, but it'd probably be early August, maybe calling back around early September. This mightn't coincide with the rest of you, but we'll see nearer the time. If it did, I'd certainly be on for meeting up...

Even if our times don't match, I could at the very least give you some tips and stuff, although there are probably some people here more qualified than me. Any other "Amsterdam veterans" out there?

What do you guys mean about the whole us old folks thing? I really dont care about age i just really dont want to go with people that are like 15 just cause they have a different view on pot consumption and im not going to trust someone not to try and bring something back with them who cant even drive a car yet. As far as being old though no predjudice there man.

So can everyone post there ages in there posts or something so i can get an idea of who im looking at to potentially invite to this thing? That would be great, i am 17 but by the trip im going to be 18.

I knew your age Cleric. I was just giving out some $hit to you guys. It is unusual to be part of the "older crowd".

I don't know the prices from Mass.. I would suggest that for the people that are really, really serious about this, we find someplace that we could all meet prior to getting on a big plane... You know, a pre flight "flight".

I really wouldn't mind finding something to do here in the states either. Hummm....
