ye it could be annoying to c someone try to be cool , but come on and dont fight it . i want this **** (weed) to be legal so im for that they promote tha weed , and dont everybody do something to be cool ? at least u guys have done it some time, havent ya ?

well i dont really know why everyone of you started but some kids just dont know. so they start doing it think its cool and they flaunt it. well in my opinion its just a stage cause i see people go through it. first they get all like this is cool and let everyone know they smoke it. but they arent really proud, they just say they smoke it. but slowly as they spend more time with the herb and begin to find the fine aspects of it they become different. they move from a person that says they smoke it to a person who is proud they smoke it and they then also realize what a goddly thing it is.

personaly it is just a phase, atleast in my highschool i see it all the time, i also see how people change into more appreciative pot tokers.

just my 2 cents.


***plus if you dont like this, hang out with them and teach then if you will and coach them and show them what they are doing and how they are acting. then get tons of pot and smoke till you choke with them, that is a sure fire way to get them to change thier ways. unless they are the member of the "mtv...i have to do the cool thing" crowd.....then your cause was lost in the wind.

Exaclty Satvia, people that throw on a "cool" image usually turn into your everyday smoker. Give them a chance, and don't judge people. Judging people is a terribal thing, and there is no reason you guys should look down on people that smoke to be cool. Again, smoking is a very cool thing to do, so it all makes sense anyway.

And everyone has "smoked to be cool", the first time you smoked, or the first week you smoked, i am willing to bet most people thought you "smoked to be cool". It is a phase, and a sterotype, thats all that is.

I personally don't know any posers. I know lots of people who can act like royal dickheads when they're really high... but no posers.

Everyone I toke with appreciates the herb for what it is. It's nice to just sit and have some funny conversations with your friends when you're nicely ripped, and laugh about old times...

I say don't worry about it, where ever you go, there will be people doing things for the wrong reasons. You know you're doing it for the right ones, and as long as you do that, everything'll be okay.

I think many people think I smoke to be cool, because when Im high around people I usually keep to myself. That is seen as maby not enjoying the experience, and their like..he just wants to be cool then. Far from the truth, but you can easily judge someone wrong, thats why I tend not to judge people. Unless they make their stereotype so obvious, its like thats what they want you to believe. I think were talking about those type of people here. They do it with all kinds of things, not just weed. Like think of all the preps, jocks, thugs, essays/vatos, etc. Thay all go out of their way to say "look Im like this, and hang with these dudes, see were all the same?" So, I think peope who smoke to be cool are just trying to fit in, by over stereotyping themselves. It will go away though ,I agree. They just need true friends to show them whats up, also if they smoke alone then they cant really be doing it to be cool, because theres nobody to impress thats around. Anyways, thats my 2 cents.

The posers make it easier to stay low key. If you're in high school, the surrounding adults eavesdrop constantly. They hear the posers talking, all the while, you are shut up. This means that no one thinks you're a stoner. Everything has a positive side; if you can't see it, smoke some more.
Don't alienate people, though. They just want to get with someone who can hook them up with weed. Then they're on their way to being just like you. Imitation is the highest form of flattery.
