| well.. as many times as I've seen Cheech & Chong's Up In Smoke.. and while it is an entertaining movie, it doesn't really do anything for people who want legalization.. it doesn't say "well marijuana isn't really bad, it has medical uses" and all that.. it's a movie that if anti-marijuana people watched, it wouldn't really cause them to form a pro-maryjane opinion... so it's a good movie, funny movie, but it's a reason for the government, and any other anti-marijuana people to say "well look at this, and the pothead ideas in this movie, are these the people we want to run our country" blah blah blah yackety smackety but i never let that part get to me.. i just smoke up, and enjoy the silly antics. ![]() but i do like the way it makes the cops look kinda dumb... you could NEVER in a million years construct a TV using only marijuana.. and the authorities and media could so easily convince the public that they could... ridiculous. o.O bet it wouldn't work these days though.. more and more people know the truth.. and I have to admit, we're crawling towards freedom.. even if it looks bleak from my young and un-time framed pov.. anybody got a timeline for how long the fight has been going on, and what's been accomplished? hehe

| Dude, my mom sez that legalization of Maryjane was a big thing when she was little. People have always been discussing it, but until enough people form together, those who want it legalized will be a minority of the silent majority. I heard that 30% of everyone in America tokes up. There has to be a way for people to band together to win the fight to legalize our herb. | |

| I think we'll get closer and closer to legalization with the advent of the internet...as more and more tokers become internet literate...we should be able to organize. if we could mobilize a bunch of tokers for a peaceful protest outside Congress...sort of like another woodstock in the middle of washington |
