RAS JOSH WENT TO JAIL YESTERDAY

Well. yesterday I was sitting here doing some internet Jah Roots work when I had a knock at my door. I answered and it was a police officer at my door. He asked who I was,I told him and he immediately said you are under arrest. I asked what for he said "a warrant for dangerous drugs". I couldnt for the life of me figure it out.
ONLY 1 time in my life have I ever been to jail and it was when I was 19. I was with some friends who got busted with a few ounces each and I had a little less than an 1/8th. I went to jail with my friends that day when i was 19 but it was for about 30 minutes. I was not booked,nor had any photos or fingerprints taken.I was simply released and told to stay out of trouble.
So Now skip back to yesterday and I am asking the cop what dangerous drugs I had a warrant for he says "I dont know, all I know is that you have a warrant that was issued in 2001 for DANGEROUS DRUGS"
So I call my wife from my house before he takes me to jail and tell her to come get me.The cop informs me that the bail is only $500 dollars which is extremely low for a FELONY DANGEROUS DRUGS warrant. We get to the jail and he pulls my original warrant out from 2001 and it says NOT Dangerous Drugs or Felony but RATHER YET, Misdemenor controlled substance charge from 2000. I am like what..... I thought there is NO WAY this can be from when I was let go 6 years ago. My friends that I got busted with in 2000 had already gone to court,done their sentences and community service and had moved on with their lives as it has been 6 years. But surely enough I am told this is why I am there.So I try to get a copy of the original police report after sitting 4 hours in jail with a bunch of meth heads and drunks,ut am told that the case is so old that the paperwork has been sent to Jeff City our Capital here in Missouri for ARCHIVES,Isaid are you kidding me??? Dude I got arrested for this shit yesterday but they cant even tell me why exactly.The jail was completely ASSHOLES TO MY WIFE AND VERY VERY DISRESPECTFUL. Also taking 45 minutes to get my release sheet signed by a sergeant so I can leave,who was sitting there eating before she would sign it. They wonder why criminals stay criminals,its not like they are trying to help these people.I saw only mockery,bulliness,and judgement on every person in there by our fair Springfield Police.
So now I have a court date for 2 weeks from now for a charge of less than 4 grams of marijuana from over 6 years ago that I will probably end up having to take drug classes for.MONEY IS AWESOME,there is murder and rape going on but the police would rather issue tickets and serve warrants that will keep them RICH AND IN CONTROL.
YAY !!
So anyways thanks to my wife and good friends I was out in only 4 hours ,but why was i there 6 yrs later and for less than an 1/8th of weed after I had been let go and not booked on the original date ?????????

Your case got lost. It got found. They wanted to deal with it before the statute of limitations ran out. It's not personal.

Who ever suggested to you that it's the cops job to help criminals? They investigate them. They arrest them. They collect evidence against them.

Criminals stay criminals because it's easier than working for a living, not because the cops aren't polite. Marijuana users keep using it after they get busted because they can't figure out a good reason that using it is a crime.

Cops deal with the scum of the earth every day. Doing that gives you something of a jaded attitude towards people who have broken the law.

Double jeopardy is getting tried twice for the same crime. The OP was never tried for the possession bust. He got caught with a misdemeanor amount of pot. The punishment is minimal and there is no doubt that he had the weed. What's a lawyer going to do for him?

Haha the cop came running down the side of your house to you guys and searched you all just because some neighbors down the street smelt someone smoking pot? It amazes me how fun harmless times like these somehow end up with a bunch of friends being arrested. I cant wait for the days where we will laugh about the times we had to buy weed off the black market and smoke it illegally.

All I know is my roommate and I got caught with paraphenelia, he got a lawyer, I didn't. I had to see a PO and get evaluated; my roommate got off with a disturbing the peace violation.

ive only been caught by my mom so i guess you cold say im lucky in a way ---the first time i was ever caught by my mom was when she found an ecstasy pill in my purse long story but lets just say she made me flush it down the toilet and i never leave any of my shit around that house anymore...its all locked up in a trunk i have from sleepaway camp a long time ago

my mom rutinely calls the cops on me because she thinks im out of control and you know the whole i dont get along with my parents story right? well my mom is a little different then your average strict parent

the second time i got caught was when i accidently smoked 2 grams of weed laced with coke and i was puking my guts out almost dying it was so bad that my friends had to call my mom to come get me she thought i was on shrooms or something or drunk and she took me home and i passed out on my bed and had mad insane dreams when i woke up in the morning my mom had gone through my shit because i didnt have a chance to lock anything up obviously --she found a pipe, papers, some stems, a grinder, and a pack of smokes

she actually ended up giving me everything back except for the rolling papers and they were good ones too elements and green apple juicy jays

the third time was recently actually i came home completely fucked up and i went upstairs and unloaded verything in my room and then went to grab something to eat and then i was going to lock everything up in my trunk--anyway i hear my sister go into my room and then she leves and im like whatever you know? shes a couple years younger then me and she is completely brainwashed by my mother and she hates me because i smoke weed --then my mom goes in my room and i hear her scrounging around andshe comes downstairs and shoves a handful of shit under my face and screams LOOK WHAT I FOUND YOU LITTLE DIRTBAG SLUT and im like you fucking bitch and i grab for it but she runs away and goes in her room and locks the door and my stepdad stands outside the door watching me to make sure i dont get in the room--like i said my mom isnt like other parents shes very immature and i swear shes jealous of me or something like that

well what she found was my pipe again, nice ocb slim papers, regular zig zags, weed and the bowl for my bong

thank god my bong was locked away in my trunk i actually cried when i opened my trunk and it was sitting there all safe and not hidden in my moms room

so i tell my mom that none of the stuff is mine and i make other bullshit excuses up and she keeps all of my stuff because shes a pig and she tells me that the next time she has to call the cops on me shes going to tell them that she found all that stuff on me and give it to them like what kindof blackmail is that on your daughter?

i hate living with my mom she is constantly screaming at me and i scream back although ive discovered now that keeping your mouth shut and agreeing to whatevere she says works better and im doing that now but then she gets frustrated and shell punch me or some stupid shit like that

she wants to kick me out of the house into a group home but she moved me to canada a thousand miles away from anyone i know or care about to marry this guy and i have no where to go and i dont want to live in a group home that would be so bad and degrading and i cant handle that right now

im so stressed i cant go to school and focus on anythign and then i get caught and i talk to the vp and i have to go to all of my classes now otherwise im expelled

i cant get a job so i have no money and i am forced to depend on my mom because she moved me to this bulshit country where i have no status and i have no social nsurance number renedering it impossible to get a job

anyone that knows my mom and all of my family memebers tell me that its goign to be over soon and that they know how my mom is and how she treats me people have seen my mother punch me and the next day i go to school and tell people that the black eye i have is from running into a door

i have 9 months until i can move out an leave ill probably move back to north carolina where i originally moved from in the first place
or ill stay in toronto and go to senecca college i dont know but i just have to hold on for a little bit more until im free from my mom
