I would suggest not telling her you're sleeping. Definately won't work When she talks to you about it, just be straight with her. She already seems to know what you're doing, so denial is not the way to go in this situation. Tell her you don't smoke very often and that you're careful and responsible with it. Good luck man and let us know how it goes. Maybe we can win another mom over to our side...

Yeah, I just got caught yesterday and I'm glad I was honest and up front about it.

I've been smoking regularly for about 2 years now and have never been caught (lived with my mom off and on...probably about a year total with her.) She told me she was coming home late and I may not see her before I go to bed. So, I get home a little before 8 and decide to smoke up. I smoke about half a bowl, just enough to feel it, and go downstairs to make food. Then I see her car pull in. I'm not too paranoid at this point, I just focused on staying calm. As she walks in she says, "Why didn't you answer the phone? I was trying to *sniff sniff*.....why does it smell in here...it smells like you've been smoking pot."

So, I admit to it, I explain that I'm responsible with it, I don't do it before work (which isn't altogether true, but I never do it within 2 hours of work), I don't drink, I'm not a bad kid, I just happen to enjoy pot. She tells me that she used to smoke but never wanted to tell me because I'd be disappointed in her...but now she's disappointed in me. She said her mom found some in her purse when she was 18, kicked her out of the house and their relationship was never the same.

We talked about it for about 30 mins and that was that. She still hasn't punished me or anything, didn't take my bowl or my pot (I'm down to a bowl or two of shake anyways, so I could care less about the pot, but I love that bowl), and things seemed pretty normal tonight. I'm glad things went down the way they did, but I keep waiting for that other shoe to drop, ya know? I'm hoping she decides to smoke up again, that'd solve all my problems. I'll post if any judgement is handed down from upon high.

Speaking of high...wish I could be there right now.

so yea me and my homie were drivin smoking a doobie in his eclipse (yes yes, i know, TERRIBLE idea) not to mention we were on a country road...i had just quit my job and walked out ( i was a manager at little caesars a pizza place around here)...so all of a sudden we see a TX State Trooper drive by opposite us....

well needless to say my friend (the driver) is not too bright sometimes (dont get me wrong i love the guy he's my bro), and he didnt think to drive off as fast as he could so that the troop couldn't catch up with us....(anyone whos has encounters with the TX troopers know that they are not to be f*cked with)....well instead he sits at the stop sign for 30 seconds and then drives off as slow as can be....i had already put the joint out but at this point we looked like cheech&chong with all the smoke in that little eclipse.


a few minutes go by and he starts talkin about all the times we "came close and got away" with the law..bad topic to choose...bout 3 minutes into this topic i look in the sideview mirror to see the red and blues fastly approaching...


needless to say, we're f*cked...he pulls us over and starts the procedure like normal...but when my friend showed the cop his army ID (he's home on leave, its the day before new years eve), the normal acting cop instantly turned bad cop on us...

"you wanna come to TX and smoke weed, do ya army boy?!?"

and from that point on we were screwed....he found my pipe, and my halfburned joint in my pockets....

he then used his "its a state jail felony if they find anything on you when i get you there"..which caused me to basically have to make with the bag i had in my sock (i aint gettin a felony over something thats a misdemeanor sorry)

so yea, we stayed the night in a small jail in Archer County..with about 4 other people...they were cool as shit surprisingly we just sat around all night and talked about all the shit weve done throughout our lives...it was ok, given it was jail and all it still sucked...

what sucks ass is i had long hair and looked liek a hippie so i had to pay 150 to get out...my buddy whos in the army got out on a PR Bond (personal recognisance - sp?) cause hes in the army or whatever....

haha well after that, i went home smoked some roaches i had left...and took a 4 hour nap....proceeded to wake up and drive with my same friend that i got busted with to Dallas and party for new years!!!


- this story took place in December 2005, i just recently got off of deferred probation for it in January 2007..-

i smoked the entire time b ecause i live in a diff county and they had my county supervising me..

my total PO meetings for the whole 6 months maybe could have added up to 10 minutes tops...

Definitely a cool story - were you ever tested on probation?

For some reason, even though TX has this conservative reputation, it seems like their cops are cooler than most.

i was pretty disoriented when i first got there...but the dudes were nice man...gave me a mattress and a bed and were just really helpful if i had any questions or anything....

all in all jail sucks balls. and after i couldnt sleep anymore it really started to get boring and monotonous but luckily i posted bail. haha.

This is just another example of why Texas is a hellhole for stoners like us. Out in Cali where I live, cops aren't really a worry for us at all as my friends and I light up some chronic. It's sad to think you Texans actually have to think about that kind of shit and be paranoid. I live in a very liberal town, where literally thousands of pot smokers reside. I'm sorry man, never been arrested but I know it must suck. k+

The only reason weed is illegal is because the police must make their quota. Most drug-users arrested are, in fact, stoners.

ok so here is my story...i got caught smoking...this is like my third time...but when my parents catch me they just tell me to stop and ground me...
well this time my dad found my pipe...and i didnt kno...so he put soap in that bitch..and i smoked out of it...aHAHA WAT A BITCH..so the next day he came in my room and searched it...and found about 12 off topic club pills (X)
and some other stuff...along with alllllooot of weed...he took it all and says...
"haha dum ass...i got all ur stuff...and i hope u like the flavor or lemon dawn"
ahhahahha wat a bitch..i was laughin my ass off...u kno wat he did wit everything?..he put it on top of the refrigerator...so i stole it back...and im goin to blame it on the dogs...haahha...he doesnt kno the shit is gone yet tho
