Smoking at a school is a really bad idea in the first place. If you're going to smoke in a public place make sure you can't be seen or heard from anywhere else. And make sure it's out of sight from the road. If you can see the road and it's the only way in for cops make sure you have an easy and conveniet exit strategy where you can calmly walk away. Im sure cops aren't going to chase you down a dark alley for no reason.

Always make sure you have an exit strategy if you're in public. Luckily I've got so many places to smoke around here I never really have to worry if I can't smoke at my house. Dumbest place I probably smoked was just walking down some random NYC block smoking a J. Got some weird looks.

4. If you can ditch it, ditch it. If it's inevitable you're about to get caught ditch everything. It doesn't matter how much that bowl cost or how good that weed is. CHUCK IT. Trying to be sneaky and keeping something illegal on you when being approached by an officer/parent is not a good idea.

5. Use good hiding places and double check you've put everything away. Having a shitty generic hiding place like some random draw will eventually fuck you over. If you have people living inside your house expect them to open random things and stumble upon open places. ALWAYS use a clever inventive hiding place, and attempt to "double hide". What I mean by that is, if they can see the item with just simply opening something, your hiding place sucks. Try and make it so they have to open something AND move/look under another object to be able to find anything. Adding this extra security could save your neck if someone decides to meander in your room one day. If there's a doubt in your mind that you left the bong out on the table, CHECK IT. It's better to be safe than sorry. Excuse the cliché. One last thing, DON'T HIDE YOUR WEED OUTSIDE. I've personally have had bad experiences with this, and is just overall a terrible idea. You can never predict the weather or animals.

6. Don't let using precautionary tactics become routine. If you chew gum/use spray after smoking and it has worked, keep doing it and do it right. You never know how close of a call you'll experience that night and a half-assed job could do you in.

7. If your inviting a group of people over your house to smoke while your parents are away PLAN AHEAD. Don't spur of the moment big plans like this. Make sure your parents will not come home, because nothing is more embarrassing than getting your friends and yourself caught by your parents. Luckily my friends are fast and have incredibly lucky timing. This could not be the same in your case.

Hope you can find some of my tips helpful. STAY SAFE SMOKERS! Feel free to add any more pointers I may have missed for our noobs.

I noticed most of these apply to high school students. Maybe someone should write up a draft for of age adults.

Ok so a couple months ago its friday night and i go to my HS football game and had my pipe and like a dime on me and i was already baked a little and i hide it in my shoe then my frind comes and we smoke more and i put it back in my shoe well i walk home like a hour later and forget that i put it there.

So I wake up the next day and go to school blah blah and my mom comes to school to pick me up to take me to work and shes like "I found some pot and a peice in your work show today" I was thinking oh shit and then shes like your not doing any other drugs right im like no (im not) and then shes like ok good now do u know how hard it was for me to keep that for myself i was like OMG lol and then we start laughing now we talk openly about it

I had a party at my apartment when I was 19, we had about a QP among 15 or so people, and we were obviously baked out of our minds. We had been smoking for close to 5 hours, ordered pizza and it had already been delivered, we ate and began smoking again.

Just as we lit our blunts, there was a knock at the door. It was my father. He seemed pissed at the time because he was worried about me getting busted for having so many people in such a small apartment.

...Needless to say, my father and I smoke all the time now.

I posted this on another thread. I think it's a great story to tell other people when they are high. I think it would be hilarious to make mini movies out of these...

I was like 17. I smoked a few times prior. Earlier that day, my friend and I went to a head shop and I bought a brand new bong. We called other friends on my cell to meet at my friends house. So, we loaded it up. We was in his backyard. I toked and toked like I have never done before on this new bong. I got so high, it felt like my eyes were trying to run out of my head. So, after every toke, I covered up my eyes, and my friends like, "Bro, what are you doing?" I am like, "My freaking eyeballs man...They are trying to run a marathon!" After that, everyone laughed. I laughed, and laughed some more. Then, I felt like I just had enough. And my friend had a gas mask bong and I put it on and smoked it up. In the mask, it was all Smokey, and the next thing I remember, I see my friend go inside to get a coke or something. And, I am like..."Whatever." Next thing I see is he running back outside. I take the mask off, and I see my friends mom next to there door, she just got home from work. She was actually suppose to be out of town for a few days... And I am like giggling and stuff. And shes like, "What...What...WHAT THE FUCK TRENITY!" At that point, I look around, and EVERYONE IS GONE! I get up and run like 10ft to the fence(seemed like a mile). Absolutely no gate, plus it was the tallest fence in the history of fences! During this time, I was seriously fat. So picture a fat dude, High as fuck trying to pull himself up this huge fence. I finally get up, and I flip over on my back. I remember looking up at the sky giggling, thinking "Oh yeah, You can't catch me copper!".

So, I got in my friends car and we took off.

I've only been caught by my mom. She called me up on the phone and told me she found bud in my room. Yeah I got cocky about where I hid my shit I guess. Oh well. She thinks I've stopped now.

Me and my friend almost got caught by the cops though twice.

I was down in South Carolina for one of the times. Me my friend and his bro had been driving around for awhile. We had smoked and stuff, but by this time the car had been aired out. We stop for a bight to eat at sonics. And I guess since we were sitting there with the lights off for awhile my friend forgot to turn them on when we leave. So we drive for like ten minutes. And theres a cop in the lane next to us a few cars ahead. I pointed out the cop, Cause I like to do that especially when I'm holding. And my friend said " I wonder if my lights are on" They weren't. So he flipped them, and as soon as he flipped them on, the cop slowed down and got behind us to pull us over. I seriously thought we were gonna go to jail. I had about an oz on me. Two bowls and a grinder in the car. Plenty of knives and stuff that my friend had also. Thank god the cops didn't search us. They were real nosy though. I was in the passenger seat and the cop asks me " Whats that green stuff on your hoodie" I Freak and I'm pretty scared to look at what he was pointing to. It was a piece of lettuce thank god. I handed it to him through a crack in the window, explaining we had just left sonic ( they believed us cause this is a bum fuck area and sonic is pretty much the only place to go) Surprisingly we made it out safe. I thought we were screwed cause my friend had just gotten an open container charge a few weeks earlier. I thought we would be searched for beer at least.

Second time me and my friend were walking through my neighborhood. It was night and we were heading to a smoke spot in some woods that we frequent. I had a bowl and about an 1/8th on me. We notice the police helicopter over our heads. It frequents my neighborhood sadly

We walk back to our spot , but the heli was still flying around so we decided not to smoke and just go home. And as soon as we came out of the woods. Right around a corner a cruiser comes by. He stops us and asks us where we were going. " Home from the convenience store officer" He asked me if I've sen anyone else around and told him no. He was like " Alright have a nice night"

But yeah. I hate those situations.

Ive been sort of caught by my auntie once, and almost caught by the cops once.

1. So i go to work like any other day, leave my weed, pipe, and primetimes in this drawer in my room. I get off work and my aunt (whom i am living with) picks me up because my car is being fixed. Anyways we drive homke and all is fine until we pull into the driveway and shes like, "so you started smoking hey!", i was like, Oh shit, so i said i only smoke primetimes once in a while and i just decided i would try marijuana, lol and she starts saying random shit blah blah blah... she then gives me all my stuff back and say i cam do what i want with it, so naturally i kept it, i was just more stealth from then on. Keep in mind tho, that this aunt smokes weed regularily but doenst know that i know she does. A stoner always klnows ! lol, but i havent been caught since.

2. Last weekend me and some friends went to a party in the country. Me and like 8 other people decided we would hotbox my car around 12:00, so we did it was fun . w/e lol got drunk after that. Anyways, around 230 we decide to leave cuz the party was gettin lame so we got into my car, and i drove out of the driveway and parked on the road to figure out what we were gonna do. All of a sudden, a friggin cop pulls up right beside me out of nowhere! im like öh shit" he asks what were doing and comes right to my window, and the car reeked! i told him we were just calling a taxi and the i heard him sniffle! He had a cold so he couldnt smell i guess! so he said to pull our car into the driveway and hed be watching it. So we went inside and waited for an hour till he left, then waited another hour then left oourselves. It was friggin really close, i was so scared haha. THAT GOD FOR WINTER COLDS! haha

From now on i plan to not smoke in my car, and to be a little more stealth for a while haha.

ive only been caught by my dad never by the cops my dad would rather have me getting high then smoking cigs so i really have no fear of getting caught except when it comes to the police.
