When I was in DARE they made tobacco almost as bad as weed so I dont think that would help much.

Tell 'em the truth.Say D.A.R.E. just blows things out of proportion, tell them how long you've been smokin' and you've still been that same person, same loving older brother that they know.

Teach them to be more open minded about this.Sit them down and talk to them.

Wait a second, take a step back.

I know none of us here ever think about it, but Marijuana is illegal. What you are doing is "wrong" in the minds of over half the country (but not much over half). I recently had a talk with my sister, who is 15 and very intelligent. She thinks like I did when i was here age; like they taught me to think: weed is a drug, just as hard as heroin or crank and if you use it you'll go to hell, or worse, you'll be poor.

But your sisters are so young. It will be hard to explain the truth about why people smoke when you're going up against a dare officer.


Just tell them 'well, the dare officer had a gun. I'm sure he has been trained to use it to hurt someone if he has too. He's allowed to shoot someone, because he has taken the time to study his gun and make sure he's using it responsibly. It's no different for me. Some people can't do this responsibly, but i've taken the time to learn how.'


I would ask my dad how to approach it first, though.

haha one time I was blazing in my friends room and its on the bottom floor, right at the side of his house. Anyways his window was open and I had just taken this huge hit and his sister walks by weirdly and Im just like holy ****!!!! and turn around to hide all the smoke thats pouring out of my lips which Im trying to seal to keep the smoke in. Kinda funny, I don't think she did anything though

Well, since your sisters are pretty young, i just would just make sure they don't do something stupid and call the cops or something. Young kinds have been know to dial 911 for the littlest things, i know when my brother was 7 he called 911 when my parents were yelling at eachother and he thought it was abuse or something. So if your sisters know not to call the cops, just tell them when they are older about it, untill then they probably didn't think much of it at all.

I know my brother and sister don't care that i smoke pot.

Just say, look at me, have i ever lead you to bealive that i am a bad person. Tell them you love them and are the exact same you were before. then tell them they'll understand when they are older.

And hell if you have to tell them you stopped.

9 and 10 isnt really a big deal they'll bealive anything you tell them.
