This isn't really a caught story, but it was almost. Last night there was a house party which we dealing at, we had a couple joints and decided to go to the KFC drivethrough as things were getting hectic and munchies are a killer. We get a lift in a friends BMW who decides to blitz, so we're going 80 in a 40 limit coming up the the corner for KFC, we skid around the corner, to see firstly a police car, a riot van and best of all a dog unit with the dog stood by the door. We all had enough weed to get arrested for dealing so we drove straight out, although driving past the dog unit was sketchy as hell. Yesterday was a bad day for police as we'd been stopped once earlier and would see them once more at the party. But that was the scariest moment of the night.

Calm down dear, I knew the risks I was taking.

It wasn't me driving for one, what would you expect me to say. "Hey would you mind slowing down? I don't wanna break the law"? When you're dealing there are inherant risks which you take, last night there were increased street patrols to crack down on dealing, I've never seen police down there before and assumed it was safe, we were unlucky, that's all. I'd also point out I'm from the UK, drug laws are far more relaxed than in the US.

I realize the laws may be different, but still.....if I was in your situation, I most certainly would have asked the driver to slow down. I've done it before, so often that upon entering one friend's car, he got to the point of asking me if I had anything illegal on me, and would drive accordingly. I never would put myself in a situation where someone would drive like that while I had marijuana or anything else on me that could be considered illegal.

I too hate it when weed is referred to as pot.. blech, it's like demeaning or aomething it just sounds so dumb too.

Unfortunately, I have been caught. And it didn't suck that bad, surprisingly.

Last Monday, I had a doctor's appointment, and therefore got home from school early. No one was going to be home for at least 2 hours, so I decided to smoke a phatty on my backporch. When my mom got home, she was acting a little strange and kept following me around. Finally, she told me my eyes were dilated and that I had a very dry mouth. I denied smoking of course, but she didn't buy it. She pulled out a home drug test and forced me to take it. It came out positive, and, just as I was expecting her to start bawling about me being a drug addict, she told me that she was quite the stoner when she was a kid, and that her only real concerns are me going on to other drugs or getting arrested. She told me she's all for marijuana being legalized and that if it weren't illegal, she'd be fine with my smoking.

Well, I didn't get grounded, but I still feel rather strange around my mom now that she knows for sure that I smoke...kinda sucks
