LOL...I remember college just as an extension of morebills to be paid.

But I am looking foward to doing these courses. I've already put 2 years into a Business degree, and I want my CJ so I can round myself out some more. So another 2-3 years of studying on my downtime, and maybe an extra $30k for tutition...sigh.

Oh hell, who am I kidding...I practiclly drooling at the chance, and alot of the places I worked for they usually offer tutition grants if my courses are in relation to my work, so let them pick up the first $7k in books and computer lab time, Im saving up for a Chevy Tahoe....

LOl....just be careful, and don't wind up like me....I pretty much screwed myself out of any jobs in the field of my major....between my 2 DUI's and 2 possession charges, I'm basically F**KED. My fault, and I realize this, but it still sucks like you wouldn't believe!

I hear you brother, and believe me, I am feelin for you everyday. Thats why I am so damn careful about who/what I do and who knows about it. That circle, believe me, is very small indeed.

I used to do stupid s**t though...I remember when I used to go to parties or drive to casinos I would smoke a J in the car (Yeah I know real frickin smart, eh?). And I like to drive fast too, so it's amazing that I've never got bounced by the Troopers. Not that I would have anything major on me, but especially in NYS you can get you license and car yanked in a NY minute if they get a DUI charge against you, especially if its MJ.

And I mean I've only done that maybe 1/2 dozen times, but looking back, it was some of the dumbest moves I coulda made. Hence the reason why I always try to discourage anyone from hotboxing or even smoking in public. It sucks to be sure, but a charge you can't get rid of sucks even more.

TM- How goes the battle against those charges? Any chance of getting them dropped or even your record sealed? Hate to see your degree go to waste, but theres always Security Managment or even become a lawyer.

Well, the firsat poss and DUI are already on my record. i have a prelim hearing tuesday regarding the seond offenses, but they have me dead to rights....no procedural mistakes, legit stop and search, and all that....they basically did their job 100% correctly. SD won't give you a suspended imposition (keeps it off your record) for anything less than a felony. Seeing how I've had 2 DUIs already, and a third would BE a felony, my lawyer advised against trying to get a susp. imp anyway (they WILL do them of a FEW misd. charges, but its really rare). Basically you get 1 per lifetime, and usually only for felony offenses....kind of like a get out of jail free card for otherwise good people who really **** up...lol

A police officer MUST HAVE PROBABLE CAUSE TO PULL YOU OVER
One question though tm, what would happen if she didnt pull over? Then it would be probable cause right? A little dilema here I think,Mabye yell out the window?lol.....seriously though......

NO....the person should ALWAYS comply with a traffic stop. Not pulling over when a traffic stop is initiated is a serious charge in and of itserlf. The correct thing to do would be to pull over, and follow the officers instructions. If asked permission to search, deny it...ESPECIALLY if you have anything to hide. If the officer had no probable cause to initiate the stop, any and every little thing the cop finds from that point on is completely inadmissable in court.A cop can't pull you over on a whim hoping to find something to charge you with. it simply doesn't work that way. However, never resist, and comply with everything short of granting permission. Resisting, or refusing to pull over WILL get you charged with a crime.

So, three weeks after starting to smoke pot seriously (everyday) I finally get caught. I've read all these stories, and mines nothing special. Everyday at work I roll up a blunt with my buddy, and go out back into the alley to smoke. I'm never on duty, and my boss didn't care. So anyways, my mom calls my cell, which is in my car, cuz she hears sirens and lives near my work. She doesnt get ahold of me, so comes to work, sees my car, but cant find me. She somehow manages to get intot he back alley (which is very secluded. One entrance) and finds me smokin a blunt. She asks what im doing, i told her "Smoking weeD?" She siad you need to go home right now. Im 18 paying for everything and rent too and she said shes gonna kick me out, but i doubt it. you know how moms are.

neways, dont smoke in public, u get ownt.
