Picked up a 1/4 last night. When I got home I took a few pics and put them on this very forum. I was so sure I deleted the pics on the camera but I wake up this morning and go talk to my mom who seems weird. "Your sister found a picture of weed on the camera."

She already knows I tried weed but I don't know if she knew I was still smoking she wasn't angry or anything but just gave me the bit about cannabis psychosis (She's a doctor).

I'm feeling pretty bummed right now. I don't want to disappoint my parents but I don't feel pot is affecting me negatively and I'm certainly not abusing it or any other substances.

I don't think you should get back at her. She just did what she felt was right. For all she knew you were going to rob her.

Getting back at her proves she was right to call the cops. I am very vindictive myself, but leave old people alone. She didnt know you were getting drunk and high...4 teenagers going into the middle of nowhere can be very suspicious to anyone, especially nervous old women who live alone.

no one said she was old she was a perfectly fine 40 yr old. I'm not very keen on gettin back at her, but all my friends want to even ones that weren't there. First off I believe she had no right cause it was his property. It jsut pisses me off when people try to play super citizen and catch any body doing anything wrong.

Also bout 4 squad cars came proving our town has nothing better to do than bust innocent harmless kids.

More than likely, if they were drinking, there was alcohol in plain sight. If that was the case, they could be arrested for that, and searched incident to arrest, where the weed was likely discvovered. just because the weed wasn't out in the open doesn't mean they can't be charged with it if found during a valid search.

I got a kick out of that comment as well. Cops cannot shoot someone just because they are fleeing. Unless the officer's life, or the lives of other people are in immediate danger, they cannot shoot. They wouldn't have shot your friend unless he was pointing a gun at them or pulled a knife or something. If they had shot him just for running, they could have been charged with murder.

my parents used to walk in on me in my room smoking, they acted like they didnt see it, started noticing them caring less and less over the years and finally smoked wit my mom that was about 1.5-2 years ago

My parents have always been in denial of my pot smoking. Several times over the past years they have caught me with small bags or para but since I never showed any of the "signs" they felt typical of doing "drugs" they never questioned me. Now its to the point where when I do come home for the family dinners they joke about my red eyes or always ask me if I'm hungry...

The point is that the only thing they are worried about is you not finishing school, other than that parents are usually cool with the decisions you make over time. You might even find out a few things you didn't know about them. However, these stories are genrally lame and include old terms you'll laugh at. I.E. five finger lids...lol
