I dont think I can use any bigger letters, so let me say NO NO NO...dont EVER be found near any school with any type of illegal product or parapheneilla (sp?) on your person. The penalty enforced is MUCH harsher in these areas than in regular parks, reguardless if the school is open or not. The same also for houses of worship.

Go buzzed afterwards, have a good time, worse that can happen is that your told to get the F out or that your tresspassing...

i was at a elementary last nite with some bitches with my best friend. cops kept rolling by like hell of em they saw us an they didnt do anything even tho we had to go in throw some gates it was kinda hard. but yeah my friend was underage and he had cigarets on hi. thats all we were sort of high and a lil bittypsy. i love smoking at elementarys tho i try to come with a rolled blunt so imn not carrying anything.

I was smoking in my room, blowing smoke out the window, my mom awake and in the study outside my room. She knocked on my door, knowing I'm awake, wanting to show me some weird book shelf looking thing. I tried to keep her away, but alas..

"I smell something burning. Are you smoking?"

"No. You're crazy."

She barges into my room, and immediately says

"Sigh. You were smoking pot?!"

She takes my pipe, and makes me clean my room at 2 AM. I was high as hell, so the severity of the moment wasn't taking any effect. I took my pipe back a few weeks later. I mean, it's from Amsterdam, I'm not letting it rot.

Ok so me, my cousin, and my brother all decide to spend the night at my grandma's. We pretty much worked hard all day cutting and stacking all her wood, because shes to old to do it (74). Anyways, later that night we load the bong up a lot and get super blazed. Then next morning we cut and stack more wood, and at like 1:00 PM she said she'll take us to Chicken Hut.
So I go and load up my bong for when I get back. I order this really good burger and when I get back I went to go to the bathroom But not really I put my bong under the sink so I was gona do it real quick. When I go check... NOTHING WAS THERE I IMMEDIATLEY freak out!!! and go looking all over the house. I went back to my burger and said to my grandma "I'm missing some stuff"
Grandma-"What kinda stuff?"
"Like my pocket knife and laser pointer"
Grandma "it'll show up"
So we all gather up clues. Like when she was in the car I was like "Is there even any cops around blank" She said yeah and I was like "Really for what?" since it's a nice little town and nothing bad happens. She responded with "Drug Busts". So that gave us a clue that she took it. and I don't want to go into the other clues since I want to wrap this up.
We started searching all over the house and my brother finally finds my bong and weed. We couldn't find my lighter or the box I keep my bong in but thats ok. So I make a plan to snatch it right before we leave. I do and put it in my bag and put the bag in the car. But then I see my grandma talking to my uncle that was there. 1 minute later he takes us outside and talks to us starting out with
"You guys know what I brought you out for"
I was like "What stack wood?"
He responded with "Don't play stupid"
Then "You guys brought something into grandmas house that shouldn't belong in there, now I can call the cops, or one of you can confess"
After like a minute of standing there, I said "Yeah ok" Then we proceeded to go get it out of my bag. Oh and btw I'm 80% sure that he smokes weed. I give it to him and he says "I'm sure you'll miss this, but you'll get over it". and he takes it into the house. Then comes back empty handed. Giving us a speach about how it's bad and I shouldn't be doing it in other peoples house. Btw my grandma is very very religous and she thinks it's sad that I don't read the Bible. Well then my cousins mom gives me and my bro a ride home and I was sad about my bong. Then I see my cousins mom give my dad a plastic bag. I didn't think it could be my stuff because I didn't see how my bong could fit in a plastic bag without being noticable. But my mom or dad were still acting normal not mad at all. My sister said something while we were all in the living room like "Krad556 lost something that was glass and cost $50" Then my parent's started laughing. Well, after school today I go and search there room and find the plastic bag...open it up and.... THERE WAS MY BONG I'm way happy it's not broke or anything. I'm just still seeing if there gona give it back or something.

Ok well I kinda doubt you guys read it all, but to those who did, say something about this story. I just think it's a lesson to learn and I should be more careful. oh and heres a word of advice. Never Take All Your Weed Somewhere! The day before we spent the night I bought 1/4 OZ and i'm really really happy I didn't take it all. I only took about a gram.

P.S. The way she found out was because we slept in my other cousins old room since she moved out. and she called and said "Did I leave anything under the sink?" lol how strange. It was when we were in the car waiting to leave to chicken hut. This all happend yesterday

Well, you can blame the people that thought up that winning idea of mixing Arm & Hammer with Nose Candy during the 80's. Because of them, and other assorted idiots selling that s**t near schools and other acts of anti-social behavior, Crime Control Act of 1983-84(?) was born: Double the maximum punishment for possession or distribution of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of "a public or private elementary, vocational, or secondary school or a public or private college, junior college, or university, or a playground, or a housing facility owned by a public housing authority, or within 100 feet of a public or private youth center, public swimming pool, or video arcade,'

It exempts only those offenses involving five grams or less of marijuana. But, that may only take into account the MJ itself the charge for paraphenallia (sp) can be just as bad, depending on juristiction. And dont forget; this Law is Federal & State versioned can get you effed over twice.

Say what you want about the law, and I'm sure everyone here has SOME opinion on the Drug Laws (and I speak from actually living in the areas affected by the before & after effects of that time), I dont nessisaryly disagree with the idea: I don't think dealing or selling or using it in places where kids are is such a great idea. I don't think they need to be that inculcated in the ways of the world QUITE that fast just yet.

Now, hell if you wanna ride the Merry Go Round on a Sat night after having burned a couple J's, np with me on that...But, just like burning and driving (and i've done it, and other stupid sh*t) is something where the LAST thing we need is to be getting more bad publicity...

Bx4lyfe is definitely correct. Schools are among the worst places to be caught with drugs. In my state, penalties automatically double if caught within 1000 ft of a school.....and it makes no difference if school is in session or not.

That's ridiculous, I smoked weed in a church parking lot every day at lunch hour at school. Sure god didn't mind but the cops would.

As much as the Conspiracy Mushrooms would like to believe, the law wasn't written to go after Smokers, it was targeting the hard-core users/dealers that were turning schoolyards and the adjacent neighborhoods into shooting galleries (figuratively & literally) & open air markets on the scale of Third-World countries...but without the Old World Charm or Hygiene.

Like I said, remembering the best(!) and worst of the drug subculture of the 70's & 80'2 these were NOT fun time I care to see recreated again. Having 3 graders find empty needles, vials and glassine envelopes in the playground or worse (broken needles, razors, and firearms to name a few) is not what any parent wants to put thier kid through.

But that aside, as you probably have seen, especially if you visit your local State Gov website, or do a Google/Ask.Com search on the drug laws of your state, you will see, unless you're caught with a SUBSTANTAL amount of MJ, or paraphernalia or worse both, the FEDERAL law really won't be used...it's the STATE version, which in certain locals will go further thats twill get you that aforementioned Finger put in places Fingers aren't supposed to go, until you at lEAST hit 40 years old.

As I said before...I am not against going to play on a playground baked as long as there arent any kids around, as long as you know what the punishment can be.

1 - Intoxication in Public

2 - Tresspassing (This is especially true in cities where parks & schoolyards are off limits after sundown)

3 - DUI (if you drove your vehicle there)

4 - Possession of paraphernalia (and you know what the hell that is) in this case having the pipe can be worse than having the stuff that goes in it.

All in all, after doing really stupid STUPID thing, such as roll a J while driving...hell, SPEEDING on the (no pun intended) highway, hotboxing my car, smoking in the street. I never got pinched for that sh*t (knocks on wood) but I sure as hell dont want anyone else to have to go through that crap of getting busted and worse the fines, he stigma & trama of going to trial.

Just because your underage or of age, don't mean it's always going to go away....Just safer to do it in a area where you have control over what happens. Or at the VERY least where you have a better chance of not getting pinched with ANYTHING.
