I am knocking on wood as I type this; I have had few experiences with the police, and have not gone to court for possession yet. I live in NY, and thankfully, up to 25 grams is only a misdemeanor, and I havent even had a first time offense, yet. last week, while downtown, I was talking to this guy, about to buy bud, I had about a gram on me at the time. two police come out of nowhere, take my weed, and after 5 minutes told me to get lost. I have been very lucky with the police. I think this is due to the fact that I am very polite when around them.

That seems to be my experience as well. The only time I have ever come close to trouble with the police was at a concert in NYC where literally everyone who was on the floor of the venue was smoking and consuming other off-topics. I happened to be unaware that I was posted up right fucking next to a cop with my back to him as I lit a joint and passed it to a friend. Thankfully the friend spotted the cop right quick and licked the joint to extinguish it and pocketed it. The cop was aware of the smell and searched everyone around him including my friend and I. We were cooperative and he thankfully found nothing. I feel like he was worried more about other drugs anyway which could have posed a much greater risk.

Last night my friend and I went out back of our dorm with a one-hitter box and some of the dankest bud we've ever had. We have smoked in this spot numerous times thought it would be all good, but while hes messing with the piece trying to pack it using the box a 5-0 rolls up.

My friend is very smart and quick witted he went off on this story about how it wasn't ours and some kid we were just smoking a cigarette with had offered us $5 to hold on to it for him for a few minutes. He told the officers (the first one called for backup and this is campus police so a lot of them are trainees and 6 officers and a squad car showed up) that he had been opening it to see what it was when the first officer walked up. I played along with the story and we sold it well but we were obviously gonna get something.

We ended up being groped, not just searched, like fucking felt up by the 5-0's and thank God I didn't bring my bowl because we had nothing else on us our story seemed straight. The lady officer who was clearly not a trainee that had shown up and was running the show told us that she has personal beef with marijuana "abusers" and that normally anyone she picks up goes straight back to the pen in the squad car to get booked, but she felt bad for us because our story seemed legit and we had explained that we are both on a special room & board scholarship that we would lose for this. However, they couldn't just let us go, so my friend ended up getting a citation because he was the one holding the bud. It's a $400 fine and one year of probation as well as a court date. I was incredibly lucky to be off scot free but i felt so bad for my boy but he was assuring me it's cool. Anyways that's my story, I'm incredibly lucky, my friend still lucky just not as much.

Haha this one is interesting...
I was sitting in my room and my sister comes in and she wants to smoke up, but all i had was resin in my hand carved wooden pipe... she takes the first hit, and blows it out.. a few mins later MID HIT for me my mom walks in the room..

Turns out she could care less as long as i didnt do it in the house,

Up In Smoke

I was up at my cottage on the Great Lakes a couple of weekends ago. My friend was turning 23, so we had a shindig.

Come Sunday, we're all very content with the weekend, we all agreed it was an excellent one. So we cleaned up, rolled up a Road Rocket, and headed out just as the sun was setting.

We had to go to Guelph first to drop my friend off, then we headed back to Toronto. When we arrived, it was soo late that we figured it wasnt worth waking everyone up and getting in shit for coming home so late. Instead, we headed back up north. Its only 1 hour and thirty mins away.

When we got to Barrie, (half way) we passed a cop. an OPP to be exact. Ontario Provincial Police. the big boys. As soon as we passed him, he slammed on the brakes and pulled a U'y. Followed us for about a Kilometre. Which gave us enough time to put the bud in our pockets.

He came up to the window, and he was PISSED. I was actually frightened on how angry he was. First question was "Have you been doing any kind of illegal activity tonight?"

I replied confidently with "No, Sir."

At this point I was thinking does he smell pot in the car, because he took a good whiff when he came up to the window. So I figure if he askes about Pot, i'll tell him, otherwise i'll just play it off.

He then asks me for my License and Registration/Insurance.

He comes back and says "Ive got 3 questions for you. well, 2. Your license plate has expired as of today. What is this condition on your ID?" I told him, and he confirmed with HQ and proceeded to ask his next question.. again, becoming very intimidating.

"where are you coming from? The reason im asking is because your car and the last three digits fit of your license fit the description of a double murder that just happened in toronto."

He started drilling me with questions. then he asked me the same question, but in a confirming manner, like "so you say you came from the east end of toronto just now?"

this is the scary part. I specifically told him the WEST end. he was trying to trick me into fessing up. I didnt commit the murder, so I had nothing to hide. He asked all his question and I reaffirmed all is accusitory questions with confidence.

About 10 mins later we were on our way. Scared to say the least. But not behind bars. and thats the important thing.

Not very pot related. but still a sticky situation that i felt would be an interesting read.

Smoking what? Got proof? Nope.

Doesn't hold up, But yeah, it's hard to take it like that. Ill explain my story in the next post, don't want it to be cluttered by this.
