Wow, most of this thread is really old...

I'm at Carnegie Mellon right now...

Not a very weed-friendly place...

But I'm trying to change that.

I mean, we had like a 3-week drought, but generally it's not that hard to get...

Maybe 1/3 of the people I know claim to do it sometimes...but they probably don't.

Generally, I think most colleges are pretty cool with it...CMU is probably one of the worst...but it's still not bad!

Seriously, though, we need more cool/intellectual people to apply here...ohh...hah...more hot girls (who also fit the above criteria) would be nice!

I had a friend that went to Antioch in Yellow Springs Ohio. That was the most marijuana friendly place I've ever seen.

I wish I had seen this thread earlier... Bailey was going to school in Toledo...I was living in Toledo...who knew?

Hey everyone,
havent posted here for a long LONG time! (was way too busy w/ all my shiet)

but anyways im finishing my first semester at Penn State and wow...
we are DEFINITELY a weed friendly school. i mean like a third of our floor smokes and its not an uncommon thing to smell a runaway weed cloud floating about the hall (our RA finds them pretty funny too )

basically they would not do anything about it unless you are blatant about it and do something dumb like say hotboxin ur room w/ no towel under the door and then acting like assholes. if you do get caught tho, u'll definitely go on probation for a few months and will have to attend some gay little drug class. In other words only the dumbasses get caught

but then were rated #4 party school in the nation so what else would u expect

Hampshire and UMass Amherst... If Mama had only known when she was a depressed uptight Smithie just a bus ride away all those many years ago... Life, how ironic

BTW, UMass has tightened up the slack due to some serious gun activity oncampus during some buys...

Hampshire is a VERY DIFFICULT school to get into...and damned expensive too... but if I were going back to college, that's where I would be going...would definitely be a bit inhibiting for my "foster" daughter though, she's a Junior there

Yeah, Antioch defintily is. Yellow Springs is an awesome town too. I love to go down there and wander around in the woods and smoke. The people are so friendly and nice there and they have a bunch of realy great shopes. It would be a cool place to live and go to school if it wasn't so expensive.

Perhaps you should do a search on the ones already provided...they ARE liberal arts colleges... as for Tech colleges, none are by definition "laid back" but they do have their stoner cliques.

hey, lotta things hit home for me here.......I have lived basically across the street form U of Toledo for my entire life, and now i g to college 15 minutes form Dayton. We go to Yellow Springs all of the time, some of my Profs live there. It is hippy town for anyone who doesnt know, a great place to hang out. You ever see the guy selling tie dyed stuff on the corner, he is awesome. Anyway, that ekoostic hookah thing at UT happened eventually, and it was great......You guys should PM me, we have nice times in Yellow springs and toledo.....

I got a year and a half left till college. I can't wait to leave high school and never look back! Right now I have no idea where I'm going, but I've been getting all these brochures and to tell you the truth it's a little overwhelming. There's just too many of them...and I don't even know what I wanna do

My interests change constantly now but right now I'm thinking maybe something in video or film kinda stuff. Does anyone know any good colleges for that? As far as laid back ones...I really wish they would say something about that in their information packets. I'm lookin through the papers going "hey, it doesn't say anything about parties" LOL, no I'm not really a dumbass
