Question

Well, i'm in my last semester of college and I've been given an assignment to seek out and talk to people who do work with the web. The main point of this was to talk to people face to face, to start converstaions with random people we meet and hope that they work with the web, then find out how they feel about it, if they like it and if it is what they expected it to be. However, I was not able to find enough people doing this and do not think I wil by the time it is due. So I want to ask this question to all of you web developers that visit this site. I hope that the info and opionions I get from here will help me more than talking to random people on the train, as I am a daily smoker and would really like to get another smokers veiw of working with the web as a profession. Thanks to all that reply

I'm not a proffesional, but I am very involved in
promoting marijuana reform on the net. I built a homepage about 3 weeks ago, and it's getting a few hits already. You will find, I don't have a bunch of pot leaves and all that on my page. I feel it turns away people who are interested in law reform, not drug use.
We are already fighting a poor image with the general public. I have gotten an invitation to speak at a local political meeting because of the professoinalism of my page. I am in the process of starting a local chapter of Norml in my area and will be starting development of the web page soon.

I know i'll be checking back to see what Monk finds out...

Default Specific Information?

Monk, I am employed professionally in an internet related capacity. I would be willing to help you. Do you have a specific set of questions in interview format or are you looking for something less specific?

How can I help you?
