I have friends who are adamantly straightedge, and it's a real pain in the ass...And I had this girl who was almost identical to the chick in Half Baked, which was even more of a pain in the ass.

People like your girl probably won't be willing to try bud or to educate themselves on it, and that's mostly because they approach the entire situation with a closed mind. Looks like DARE may have snared a victim.

No offense to your woman, but I honestly think people who can't be cool with weed have some kind of mental ineptitude which does not allow them to be completely comfortable with themselves.

Maybe you could try making her feel completely at ease and cool with herself....Perhaps then her opinion on the matter might change a bit.

i used to have a girl like that, went out for like a year and a half. we never really talked about it, i guess she didnt care, she never saw me high, i never took it around her. she didnt ask, i didnt tell. also i never made smokin' with her an option cause her dad was a director of christian edu. at the church i goto and i am sure he would of found out, he found out everything else i did with her ~

just let her know if you think you can make her understand, pull the if you love me you will try it once stuff. she will most likly break down and do it, and if she does, make out with her while shes high, she will be hooked then, hehehe....

Personally i dont think anti drug chicks are that bad. I have dated a few and the ones i have dated didnt care what i did so long as i wasnt doing it around them or involving them. I mean i have seen girls that are just outright against marijuana, and i generally wax intellectual with them about political ideas like gun control, abortion, the death penalty,, and throw in the war on drugs somewhere between them. If they say they think its good i continue to talk with them about it untill i bring up pot.

Then if their response is negative about it i bring up my point that the criminalization of marijuana places curious youths into a black market where harder more costly drugs are available to them and more profitable to drug dealers. Also if it were legalized it would be regulated like alchohol and sold in stores, or able to make at home for personal consumption, therefore inhibiting said youths ability to obtain it and lessoning their percentage of interation with harder drugs.

I usually am a pretty good person at making people seriously think about things rather than just accepting what is spoon fed to them. After all if we lose our freedom of thought then we might as well not be alive at all.

[color=red] those poor people that cannot accep, the fact that pot is here to stay. I feel sorry for those who have not really had a good experience with the bud. It is like all things and can be abused, but i don't like the fact that those of us who do so responsiblie have to be treated like criminals by those who don't, and the fact that it is illegal does not help our cause with those who don't. WE ALL NEED TO HELP< AND THAT CALLS FOR EACH OF US TO TURN ON A STRAIGHT PERSON and to help them all understand the misconceptions of the bud...this is the 20th century...how much longer do we have to be opressed...we need our freedom to smoke just as those who drink have the freedom to do so...it is long over due and lets start by educateing the world to the good of the bud........BUD FOREEVER..............i used to bonce in a club...you would ask a drunk to leave..he would want to fight..you would ask a stoner to leave and it was o.k. man...can i come back again some other time.....
