My fiancee and I took some time off this weekend and decided to go to the "big, bad, woods" in Northern Wisconsin to an old cabin that has been in my family for years. It was wonderful!

During the trip back, we decided to stop over at my Aunt's house. I had not seen her for a few years, but she always seemed to be pretty cool.

I had been dry for awhile (hadn't smoked for a few weeks) and had been talking to My Aunt about it a little. You can just tell when people are cool about it. Well, it got to the point that she was going to find some for me. (After about the 2nd day at her house, it was obvious she smoked when she could).

The day that I was going to leave, my aunt was at work, my fiancee was at my house and I was playing cribbage with my mother. Amanda called up earlier and told me that she found my stash. Great! Bring it, and come get me please. She brings it, I smoke up and am "way high"
I asked my mother if she has ever seen me this way, she says "she thinks so". She hadn't, so that was an experience for her.

A few hours later, my aunt comes in looking as stoned as anybody I have ever seen. It was totally cool! she and I talked and laughed, playing partners at cribbage while my fiancee and my mother just laughed at us. (they were partners)

My aunt is pushing 50 and this is the first time I had seen her in this state. Now, if I could have gotten my mother stoned.....

thats pretty cool

I wish i could get my brother stoned, he used to smoke weed 12 years ago. But he stopped, because my parents told him it was irresponsible to smoke in front of me (me only 5 years old). Since then he stopped, and he sais he doesnt like the taste of it anymore.

My dad gave me a joint at the Phil Lesh and Friends concert last night. Didn't smoke it with me, but he gave me a half burnt pinner and said, "smoke that with your brother, don't tell you mom, enjoy!" Of course, I'd already had a brownie, smoked a joint to myself, smoked 2 or 3 joints and a bowl or 2 with some kind folks who stopped by, but it was still pretty cool.

Man, I'd love to be able to share a smoke with some family of mine, unfortunately, they're pretty conservative...Daniel, how's the WI weed, and what's it going for? I'm home for the summer in northern Wisconsin, and am finding out that being one of the "good kids" in high school has its disadvantages.

Daniel,
That is a cool story about your aunt!
I have posted before about being an older smoker, started at 43, and love to hear there are some others out there in my generation who toke.
Ask your aunt if she finds it helps her physically too. You probably don't know yet that your body gets all kinds of aches and pains after 40. I find weed helps tremendously with my physical ailments.

The only family members I have ever gotten high with are my two sisters. I can't imagine getting high with any of the older generation although I have a couple of cousins that I wouldn't mind sharing with, if they didn't seem so proper

Just about everyone on my mother's side of the family knows about my involvement with Marijuana.com although they have chosen not to ask about my personal habits (and I chose not to defend myself by telling them the truth )

It is amazing though how much misinformation is still out there and how many of my intelligent family members actually asked me questions about marijuana or shared "facts" that were not true. It was really neat to sit around and talk with them all about it and not be made to feel like I had something to hide.

Marijuana.com and the movement is something I take great pride in being a part of and it felt great to finally share that aspect of my life with them.

Poetboy,

Don't know much about Wisconsin Weed. That is just where the family's cabin is. I expect that it's just like all over though, some really good stuff at premium prices, and some schwag that works but cheaper.

Cyberweed-

My aunt smokes to get high, and that is it. That in itself, to me, helps physically. We laughed our selves silly and it felt really, really wonderful.
