Ok, It's about time my lame ass stopped browsing around mj.com and finally registered. You people seem so cool - mj.com is such a neat concept, bringing us stoners together in cyberspace.

Anyways, on to my subject; I was wondering if you folks have any advice for finding a new supplier. I recently got out of the military, so I've been clean for two years straight! All of my old contacts are long gone around here, so I'm basically screwed. Have you people ever moved to a totally new area, or gone on vacation in unfamiliar territory, and still managed to score some bud? If so, let me know your techniques!

That's a hard this one.....one of my friends recently went to Washington Sqaure park in NYC and bought from a street dealer....you can always do that......or maybe attend a festival?

Sorta stuck in the same predicament at the moment also. I had lots of hook ups back in Sao Paulo, it just became an afterthought, I could always get it no matter the situation. Now I'm in Deadville, USA (also known as Key Biscayne, Florida) with my parents until college starts in September for me up in Rochester NY. I did spent a good while in Holland this summer tho, which was absolute bliss, but I'm really missing the green here in KB, FL.

Yeah, I guess street dealers are always an option; I used to be able to get a dimer anytime I wanted by going down to the local bowling alley/pool hall, and asking ganster-looking teenagers if they knew where I could get some bud. LOL Usually I'd see someone I'd seen before though, so that helped. Now I rarely buy anything less then an eighth ounce at a time though, and street dealers have never been a reliable source.

For anyone that is severely desperate, though, I suggest local billiard halls as a place to start. I've rarely been disappointed when I needed a quick nickle or dime-bag. Just ask around, but be careful not to ask the wrong people (i.e. an off-duty police officer). Oh, and I'm not sure where else this works, but I know it works in many places in the US.

Well, I guess I'll try to reunite with some old friends to see if I can't get a hook-up. I guess it's never easy starting out, but I remember at one time I had enough connections that I never worried about going dry. Boy do I miss those days.
