I'm not a proud new owner of a nice metal pipe, and I some weed to go with it. I will be smoking more, but I don't know where is the safest place. I usually smoke in my truck. I just go in a parking lot (usually full so I dont look out of place) and smoke there. Then, after I am done, I drive around or go to another place and just sit there.

What is a good place to smoke? I've thought about going out to the country and smoking. Is it safer there? What about parks or forrests?

BTW, I cannot smoke at home, because I live w/ my parents and they are SUPER strict and ultra conservative.

Some parks are relatively safe but be careful! Rangers and cops will sometimes patrol the parks because people like to smoke there. Find a secluded spot. Paths are cool because you can smoke as you walk as long as you look out for people. Theres a park where I live that is this bug field surrounded by trees on all sides, except a path to get in. If people are there you can walk to these short paths in the back that no one goes down (there a longer path towards the other side). If no one is there you can just sit in the field and smoke since the trees block it from the road and you can see people coming.

Know when your park closes!!!!! The one I spoke of closes at 11:00, but most close at dark. Do not stay there too long, as this increases your chance of being busted. Do not be there after it closes because then that gives the cop an excuse to question you, even if they did not see you smoking. And especially don't be there right when it closes because thats when the rangers do there rounds. At least thats what they do here.

Drives in the country are cool. Theres no one around to see you excpet someone passing by occaisionally. But it is a difficult thing to smoke a bowl and drive. As always, use common sense. Don't take a hit at stop signs with out seeing if there is someone there first. and I still won't take a hit. Keep your eyes open for cops. And don't do this if you can't, or don't think you can handle, driving stoned. It's been up for debate here a while and I know its not the smartest thing to do, but I know I can do it. If you don't think you can, than you probably shouldn't.

Like I said, be careful!!!! Not getting busted comes from a little luck, but mostly being smart about it. Don't be stupid and risk it. And even if you are pretty safe, you can still get busted. I got arrested once, but never at any of the places I normally smoke at. In, fact I wasn't even smoking at the time. My car died on the highway and I guess the cop that stopped could smell the joint I had. Any ways, just be smart and be careful.

Yeah man, parks are the best. Try to find a cool place off the path if that's possible, because nobody would ever look there. I suppose it's cool to smoke in a parking lot, but I'd be paranoid there that someone would see me.

I usually smoke up in the forest near my house... never seen rangers or police or anyone.

well it's good to be careful i guess, but i don't think you have to drive out of town to get baked. if it's dark out you can pretty much toke anywhere. going to parks is a good idea always, wide open so you know where people are. i guess also smoking joints makes it a lot less obvious that your smokin bud. so yeah smoking joints while your driving is ok or when your just walking around the block or whatever. good luck man. happy tokin

You guys are making me long for the outdoors and a nice toke - and I just got to work! And it's not Friday! Anyway, you've motivated me to take a hike this weekend and find a little patch of aspens and sit under them while enjoying the bud...

I am fortunate to live by a pretty big wooded area with a creek and lots of trails. I have only smoked there a few times because you can't really go there at night. It would be perfect for hiking and smoking.

Great answers guys! Wish I could go to more forests and rivers/streams, etc. Unfortunately I live in Nebraska which is pretty barren and not as lush as say living in Colorado or something.

Driving to the country is one of my favorites, although its sort of a long drive. I usually smoke in my truck. I go to a parking lot or something and smoke a bowl. If I feel like i need to smoke more, I'll go to another parking lot and smoke one more. I used to smoke joints, but now that I have a metal pipe it makes it much easier to smoke. Just throw the bud on there and put a flame over it.

I like to use a small acrylic bong and just exhale/dump bongwater out my window. It's fine for covert smokeups; definitely not for a big session. What I've been doing as of late is cutting up the bud really fine and packing big hits - so that when you apply the flame it all burns up quickly and you get the whole hit. With practice you can get 100% smoke -> lungs efficiency (or close to that, whatever), and no smoke trails out of the bowl into the house.

definitely do this at night though, lest your neighbours see you!

I just usually smoke in the back when I get home from school before my parents are home, or at a friend's house. I don't like to smoke at parties because if the cops come you're in a very bad situation. I've smoked a lot of places. I've smoked just walking down the street in broad daylight sometimes. Now that I think about it it's not too bright, even though you'd probably be alright if you didn't smoke a bowl or joint but packed your weed into a cigarette. I like to smoke on the water at this lake near my house. Sometimes at night when my parents aren't home I'll just lay back on a bed sort of thing in my pool and watch the stars and smoke a J.
