| on campuses in amherst, massachusetts there is so much drugs. using all conservative figures: let's say there's 30000 people around amherst. and let's say 1/3 of them smoke or participate in some drug activity [again conservative], making 10000 users. there were some 152 drug arrests in 2000. 91 of those arrests were referrals, meaning essentially no record, go to AA or NA, then keep schwaggin. 53 out of 10000 is barely illegal. .5% chance of being caught. and those 53 were probably being really dumb about it which is why they got caught. to sum up: lots of weed and lazy police in amherst. phat. thank you whoever set this up.

| Don't underestimate the local Police ...they are not fat and lazy...they are well educated and know what is a violent crime and what isn't. | Life in Amherst is great. I just moved here a year ago and I'm loving it. I'm still in High School and hate it. It really is a good school, though. As far as public schools go. I don't plan on staying here for my whole life but if I wanted to stay as close to mary as poosible, Here I'd remain. what a pointless post. Anyway, Amherst is great.
