| The Leonid Meteor Storm tonight(Saturday night / early Sunday morning) is supposed to be the most intence that it has been in like 35 years. Does anybody have any meteor-gazing plans? My buds(friends) and our buds(weed) will be chilling all night at one of our friend's house away from city lights, smoking all night around a big camp fire, watching the light show. I think it is supposed to peak around 5:00 am or sometime like that. It should be a good show! | |

| I have similar plans. No campfire, but I know a park a little ways away from the city I can chill at. It technically closes at 11:00 PM, but I think we can get away with it.

| Well, I watched it too. For this area it peaked around 4:30am CST. I was expecting more, but it was better than nothing. I saw about 5-15 a minute. But it was kind of cloudy, too. Most were thin, and I saw some of the brightest ones through the clouds. Just wished I'd had a bowl to smoke. Been dry for quite some time. But it was a good show, anyway. The first meteor shower I'd ever seen. |
