 Hempstead While driving back to school after thanxgivin i drove through the greatest town in AR.... Hempstead!!! Id never noticed it before while sober but i wuz blazed this time. | I got a stoner buddy who went to Hofstra in Hempstead. He hated it there though.

|  d/fw area there is a street in Ft.Worth called Hemphill St.!!! im sure there are many more in the d/fw area. i will have to get a mapsco someday and find all of them. ill post them when i do.

| There used to be large areas devoted to growing hemp back in the day. Hell, there were even laws requiring farmers to grow hemp. So it isn't suprising when you stumble upon a town with a hemp related name. Imagine that entire town used to be fields of hemp...
