Me and some friends are thinking about taking a trip to Montreal in the summer, and I'm wondering about the availability of pot there. Is it as tolerated in Montreal as it is in the Toronto area? Is it easy to get, and if so, wherebouts? Would it be possible to smuggle some on the VIA Rail train, or is there much security on the trains? If you can answer one or more of these for me, thanks.

Yeah last time a hobo approched me saying he was selling weed .
i was interested in buying that why i stoped at uquam .
But that fucking hobo tryed to sell me some fake weed.
then i saw the bag was ligth a little then i saw it was grass .

So be carefull people will try to scam you.
juts ask around and check the stuff before you give the cash.

The Mcdonalds on st catherines street. I'm not even joking, when I was in montreal we asked around and that's where we informed to go by several people. The weed was good at a relatively cheap price. I don't reccomend doing it since it was a well known spot and I look back and think it was a stupid risk to buy weed on the street in a big city but from all accounts when I was there that's the place where tourists or people with no connections can just turn up and get weed.
